A FULFILLING SATURDAY

It was on a Saturday, I had my plans of traveling on Sunday to visit my friend to help her take care of her baby for sometime as she was preparing for her father in-law’s funeral. Before Saturday, my sister asked me to make out time to fix something on her hair before leaving so she won’t look homeless, lol. I helped her apply relaxer to her hair on Thursday morning to make it relaxed and clean for the style of braids I had in mind to make for her. The Friday was my favorite person’s birthday so I had already made up my mind to spend some time with him so I postponed making my sister’s hair until Saturday.

Well, Saturday came and we (my sister and I) were so pumped of what I plan to make for her. We started off by flaunting her long beautiful relaxed hair. After that, I had already prepared the attachments I plan using to make the braids. So we just swung into action immediately so we could finish on time. With every braid I made, I was impressed with it because it’s been a while I did braids but I was still able to deliver a good result in the end. The attachment we got was not in excess so for me to make sure what we have be enough, I decided to just pick them to an extent, then finish up everything before going back to complete the braids.

It took me over 3 hours to finish picking everything before I started completing the ones I left half way done. That completion took me an hour and some minutes. At this point, my sister was already looking really beautiful and I just couldn’t help but smile, hehe. Sadly, while I was trying to make her hair my phone fell from a height and has some malfunctioning. I was pained but there was little or nothing I could do. At least I could still make use of it to do the things I needed to do. So, seeing the end product of my sister’s hairdo, I was consoled by it.

Immediately I was done with all the finishing touches, I cleared the place and ate snacks then retired to bed to rest my legs because I stood for most of the hours. I felt a lot relieved after that sleep and overall, I will say my Saturday went well. I’m happy my sister loved her new look and I could make her look good before traveling. Usually, I use my Saturday to rest and interact with people but that particular Saturday was different just like today was different too.

Oh! Before I forget, today is hive power up day and I’m yet to power up some hive. Well, I remembered it now while writing this post so I’m going to make sure I power up a little before clicking on publish. I love how my hive power has been growing recently and I hope it continues this way and even gets better. Remember, the hive blockchain works better when we are not only ready to take but also ready to give. It’s a give and take platform so just as some whales are saving up their hive power just to vote on your posts, what is stopping us from doing the same to others?
