Firewood for Winters

‎AssalamuAlaikum & Greetings Everyone!

It's me @amjadsharif

‎During the winter months, especially in December, January, and February, the cold is at its peak, which requires firewood. This wood must be dry. I had cut it last year, and it has completely dried by now, and now I have to take it to the Aara Machine (sawmill), where the wood is cut into thin pieces.

The first thing we had to do was load the wood onto a rickshaw. We loaded the wood onto the rickshaw and took it to the sawmill to be cut.

‎When we got there, the fire was burning and some people around it were feeling its heat. We call this "fire-scorching".

In the village, elderly people use hookah in their private gatherings and keep smoking like cigarettes, but it is considered better than cigarettes. Smoking cigarettes is also not a good thing and is looked down upon in every society, but it is a tradition of the elders and is used in the village.

Our loaded rickshaw is there and we have to unload the wood now. The sawing machine is being readied so that it can cut small pieces of wood. For this, the saw running on it is being sharpened by a machine. The preparation is complete.

‎The wood has been unloaded from the rickshaw and the sawmill owners have started their work. They place a piece of wood together and start cutting it, dividing it into pieces in order. As soon as the pieces are ready, they are thrown to one side.

These timbers have been completed in pieces and are now being reloaded onto rickshaws to be brought back home.

Right now we are unloading them and taking them off the rickshaw. They are being kept in one place in an orderly manner so that they can be used easily in these winters and there will be no problem in lifting them from here. As is clearly shown in the picture, the wood has been placed in its place and now it will be used to light a fire.
