[EN/PT-BR] Are people running away from their responsibilities?

There is a subject that has been around for a long time that I want to comment on, express my opinion and see what my friends here at Hive think about it, in case they want to comment. I notice that people are increasingly running away from their responsibilities in life and what do I mean by that? Imagine a person who has become a parent and, no matter how much they want a baby to be born into their lives or not, it seems that sometimes these people don't realize what has just happened.

This is just one example, a thought of something that I have seen growing at a certain speed: the denial of one's responsibilities. Damn, something happened, we have a life, we have responsible lives in our care and the person seems to refuse to understand this, so they simply leave the baby there and then the child to their own devices, they don't worry about whether the child has food to eat, if he has clothes, how he is doing at school, how things are going? How is my child? It seems that the penny hasn't dropped yet, that there is a child there and that this is the reality of that moment.

Other cases are, for example, a serious relationship with a person, taking care of your parents in the future, your commitment to the place where you work, whether you are the boss or the employee, that idea about responsibility and trust with children, it seems that the contemporary world is “training” people not to have responsibilities with anything anymore, so what happens? We will try, if it works, good, if not, forget it, someone who might care will do the work of solving the problem.

That reminds me, for example, here where I live, as it is a condominium, we live in a community with several other people. Sometimes I see things like trash thrown in inappropriate places, children doing dangerous things and no parents are there, the lack of sensitivity in solving problems like a broken elevator (there are elderly people and it is difficult for them to climb the stairs), anyway, let's imagine examples like these. The big issue is that they are always passing the responsibility on to someone else.

I know it may just be a lack of education or character in people, but the message I want to convey is that it simply seems like this, that with the arrival of this connected world, cell phones for children, adults having to work more and more, becoming more absent, government policies that are simply crap, all of this seems to be making people think like this. I won't do it because it's okay, if I don't do it, someone else will, so they stop acting simply because they have someone else to do it.

Anyway, I think I managed to convey a little of the message of what I feel about people today. What do you think? Is this movement really happening? Feel free to leave your opinion.

Têm um assunto que tem bastante tempo que quero comentar, expor a minha opinião e ver o que meus amigos aqui da Hive acham sobre isso, caso eles queiram comentar. Percebo que as pessoas estão cada vez mais fugindo de suas responsabilidades na vida e o que quero dizer com isso? Imagine uma pessoa que se tornou pai ou mãe e, por mais que eles desejam ou não o nascimento de um bebê em suas vidas, parece que em certas ocasiões essas pessoas não se tocam do que acabou de acontecer.

Esse é apenas um exemplo, um pensamento de algo que tenho visto crescer com certa velocidade: a negação de suas responsabilidades. Caramba, algo aconteceu, temos uma vida, temos vidas responsáveis em nossa custódia e a pessoa parece se negar a entender isso, então simplesmente elas deixam ali o bebê e depois a criança a própria sorte, não se preocupam se ela tem o que comer, se tem roupas, como vai na escola, como as coisas estão? Como meu filho está? Parece que a ficha ainda não caiu, que tem uma criança ali e que isso é a realidade daquele momento.

Outros casos são, por exemplo, o relacionamento sério com uma pessoa, o cuidar de seus pais no futuro, o seu compromisso com o lugar onde você trabalha, seja você o patrão ou o funcionário, aquela ideia sobre responsabilidade e confiança com as crianças, parece que o mundo contemporâneo está “treinando” as pessoas a não terem responsabilidades com mais nada, então o que acontece? Tentaremos, se der certo, bom, se não, deixa para lá, alguém que talvez se importe irá fazer o trabalho de resolver o problema.

Isso me lembra, por exemplo, aqui onde moro, como é um condomínio, vivemos em comunidade com várias outras pessoas. Às vezes vejo umas coisas, como lixo jogado em lugares indevidos, crianças fazendo coisas perigosas e nenhum pai presente ali, a falta de sensibilidade em resolver os problemas como um elevador quebrado (existem pessoas de idade e para elas subirem de escada é complicado), enfim, imaginemos exemplos como estes. A grande questão é que estão jogando sempre a responsabilidade para outra pessoa.

Sei que pode ser apenas falta de educação mesmo ou caráter nas pessoas, mas a mensagem que quero passar é que simplesmente parece isso, que com a chegada deste mundo conectado, celulares para crianças, os adultos tendo que trabalhar cada vez mais, se tornando mais ausentes, as políticas de governo que são simplesmente uma porcaria, tudo isso parece estar jogando as pessoas para esse pensamento. Não farei porque está de boa, se eu não fizer, alguém fará, então elas deixam de agir simplesmente porque têm outra pessoa para agir.

Enfim, acho que consegui passar um pouco da mensagem do que sinto em relação às pessoas na atualidade. O que vocês acham? Está realmente acontecendo esse movimento? Fique à vontade para deixar a sua opinião.
