"It all began when I got pregnant. My pregnancy was anything but smooth. The first trimester was particularly challenging—I spent most of it in the hospital. I couldn’t eat or drink without it coming back up almost immediately, yet through all of that, my baby remained fine. Things improved slightly in the second trimester, but I still struggled to focus or think clearly. After childbirth, everything changed again. My life became a balancing act: taking care of my baby, managing house chores, and trying to find even a sliver of time for myself.

Growing up in the rural neighbourhood of Anambra state, worshiping in one of the catholic churches there, I remember how we enjoyed the choristers singing different hymns in different melodious voices. Thinking about it now, it strikes me of how they were able to create such beauty without any musical instruments. It was an outstation church , and perhaps that was why they were just singing without those instruments I guess. It wasn't until later that I realized how things could be different with musical instruments backing up those melodious vocals.

Interestingly, it’s not just about the earnings. I’m a full-time lover of music, particularly the kind we have on my continent—Afrobeats. If you look through my articles, you’ll see that I write about music every single week. Not only that, but the kind of songs I enjoy are ones I can actually sing. I take great interest in compelling lyrics and derive immense joy in singing along.
But my problem lies in facing the camera and putting up those staged reactions.

I have always wanted to be a #Youtube influencer. Ever since I learnt that it was a "thing" and it could also be used as a source of income. The year 2020 exposed a lot of loopholes in the employment world and job insecurities as many people were laid off work with no benefit of pay but for those who had gained a foothold in the social media world, they were not affected as much.
