When we are progressing in Splinterlands

Aha aha yeah yeah, we’re looking to improve the cards, so of course we have to check the other elements. In my case, the strength one is decent for now, I won’t level it up more yet. I need to strengthen other cards so I’m not at such a big disadvantage. I have to close that gap with players who bring stronger cards. The strategy works, but since I’m not a master yet, I still consider myself a newbie — gotta move carefully.

Not only that, I’ve got another problem — sometimes the rules only allow neutral cards, so my level 1 ones become easy prey for the enemy. That’s why I have to keep strengthening every card I can get my hands on.

In the Gold League, I really struggle — I don’t win much. But sometimes my brain lights up and I place the cards just right. Sometimes I win, other times I lose faster for doing that 😇

Thalgrimore — I think that’s how it’s spelled — is the Archon I’ve been trying to level up for days. It was still level 2, so I needed more cards to upgrade it. I took advantage and bought the cheapest ones without thinking twice. Best decision ever! A few days before they were way more expensive, so I had to wait a bit to finally get my new card at max level.

I had to collect a bunch of cards, but now that I have them — Kpoom! — it’s time to combine. Doing this at first was confusing, but now look at me, I look like a pro, like I’ve been doing it for years, even though it’s only been weeks. Still, I’m scared to combine and mess everything up. Will something bad happen if I combine wrong, or will it be fine?

And of course, the box opening and my last Gold League chests to see what cards I’d get. It’s true — I feel so excited every time I flip a card. There’s this magical feeling that never gets old.
