Christmas is the most exciting and most looked-forward-to festive season in a year. I've always loved Christmas and enjoyed every bit of it right from when I was a kid. In fact, most of my childhood's most enjoyable moments were during Christmas season, and that's because of all the things associated with it, from the opportunity to bond with family and friends to the time to relish the moment, eat good food, and overall have a wonderful time. Talking about which stage of my life I enjoyed Christmas most, between childhood and now that I'm an adult, below I'll state which is my favourite.

If I'm being honest with myself, and after critical evaluation of both forms of celebration during childhood and now adulthood, childhood experiences of Christmas are actually more exciting and fun-filled, especially given the fact that during childhood I had little responsibility aside from the fact that I'd be running some errands. Other than that, all I did during Christmas when I was a child was eat, have fun with my peers, and also get lots of gifts from my parents, elders in our neighborhood, and other people who were also celebrating Christmas. This experience makes us always long for Christmas every day.
I can vividly remember how I and my peers always walked around the neighborhood with our new Christmas clothes, moving from one house to another, greeting them with "Merry Christmas" with the hope of getting a treat, be it in cash, food, or snacks. And at the end of the day we go back home happy due to the lots of gifts we would have received and the food that awaits us at home. Christmas during childhood is heavenly and perfect because you've no worries or need to provide for anything aside from running errands, and even those errands would still attract gifts, as you deliver food to different people, they'll still give you money.
Talking about Christmas now Now that I'm an adult, I must say that I don't actually enjoy it like I did during my childhood days. Christmas nowadays is more boring and uneventful, and also it can involve lots of responsibility to make the Christmas stand out by contributing funds and things that'll make it enjoyable. Unfortunately, I'm not rich, and that's why I mostly just cut my coat according to my size and not do more than myself. Doing this makes Christmas less fun, and that's probably why I don't enjoy Christmas as much as I did when I was a child.

That's about it on my preference between Christmas celebrations when I was a child and now that I'm an adult. I've also stated the reason behind my choice. What is your choice between both? Do you enjoy Christmas more now that you're an adult, or did you more when you were a child? Tell me about it in the comments section of this post.
Thanks so much for your time.
