We all have habits we exhibit, and while we understand that some might not be great, we can recognize that some have been amazing and gone on to improve our person. Take for instance some people who might have the habit of exercising daily, and this can help them reinvest in their body, making them more fit and of a great stature, while others might have an ability for laziness or procrastination, which can be a pain in the ass for everything they ought to get done. Just like everyone else, I've got several habits, but today I'd like to talk about one that has transformed not just my mindset but also my life.

One habit I've developed in recent years that has gone on to become an integral part of me is writing, or should I call it journaling, as stated in the prompt! Although prior to joining the Hive Blockchain I've been someone who loves to write, and I do it very often, until I took a break due to work demands that got too ambiguous, but since I came to the Hive Blockchain, I've come to inculcate the habit of daily writing, and nowadays if I haven't written in a day, it always feels like a piece of me is missing, and my day would literally feel incomplete until I wrote something. To be honest, earlier this year I remember telling a friend I want to take time off from writing, but surprisingly I've been consistently writing from the very first day of the year till date.
Since I've been so consistent with writing daily, it has gone on to open my eyes to my potential and what I can do with consistency, and thanks to my relentless writing, I've tried to divert such energy to other aspects of my life, and to be honest, it's been a blessing and brings about fulfillment. To be candid, I can say writing is the habit that helps me overcome the grip procrastination had on me in the past; beyond that, it has shaped me to the point where I've become more resilient, determined, and focused on achieving anything I set out for myself.

To be honest, had I not developed this habit of writing daily and become somewhat consistent with it to the point where it becomes a huge part of me, I must say that I might not have been able to improve myself and my life and grow beyond the stage I was in in the past; writing shapes me; it helps me release my pain, helps me pour out my heart, and helps me have a clear mind to face the next day.

Honestly, I tried to cultivate this writing ofba thing as an habit but I know that eventhough I love writing I'm not good at it. Just like you said we are have different habit. To me I will say this writing habit is not for the weak.
