Life is a lesson with many episodes. It changed rapidly from both extremes. Sadness can follows a joyful moments and otherwise. Who can really understand it's ways but allow it's lessons to shape our lives and experiences. Johnson was a brilliant and energetic young man but his life episodes remains a source of hope, resilience and reassuring tales to everyone.

Like many homes in the southeastern part of Nigeria of 1980's, men usually follow their parents' footsteps by marrying more than one wife despite the changing circumstances of their period. Their parents attributed having a large households with many children and wives to the economic status being tied to the land and various forms of agriculture. Which can be justifiable cause as it's a cheap source of labor and security needed for such extensive farming. But their children whose men took up other kinds of work, having many wives and households is a calculated economic woes with many misfortunes and sadness especially to their children. Such scenerio depicts the family background of Johnson and one of the factor that affects his existence.

Since Mr. Andrew, Johnson's father can't provide for his large households, his wives becomes their breadwinners with various pretty economic activities. Johnson's mother majored in fish business. She bought from fisherman, then dried and packaged it before hitting the market severally for the sales. Young Johnson with other siblings follows her many times. As things keep changing for better, hardwork brings success. They are living better than before. Johnson with his siblings started schooling as their mother can afford to feed and train them academically. But, any time their father appear in their lives, things went sour as he steals from their mother for his debauched lifestyles.

Many other life episodes passed, Johnson become more emboldened. His brother died mysteriously which devastated their home but heavily on their mother. She went through many mental stress and sadness that affected her so much. She cried profusely and blame herself for her son's death and viewed her actions as a failure that can't save her very own. At that point in life, she needed a shoulder to lean on, a real comforter but her runaway partner and husband can't be found. A Man appeared as her comforter and brought solace to her. A widower with his kids becomes her companion and ready to assist her. With time, she forgets her worries and belongings which includes her children. She left Johnson and his sister at their fate and moved on with her newfound lover. Another powerful setback again.

However, Johnson turned to the life of a begger and salesman for sustenance. He engaged with various trade and merchants depending it's legitimate and honest approach of making money. With hope high, he pressed on with his university education and graduated with his mates successfully. His resilience is his only source of comfort and failure baked him for better being. After many years of unemployment, he ventured into agriculture with many fowls and palm trees to care.

As a astute businessman and trader, he knows how to cut off middlemen and get his product, palm oil from the source. He works on his product at various local oil palm processing factories. He stored his product and accumulated many litres of this highly - sought household and consumer products. As business cycles, the stored product becomes costly and expensive as the palm fruit does not ripe at that period of the year thereby limits supplies. He makes huge profits and raised capital for his business empire. He is now married with kids and have a lot of landed properties and luxuries.

Finally

Failures does not define who we will be but can improve our experience and skills for becoming our better self. Although many people becomes depressed and sadness without solution because of their experiences. Rather than seeking for legitimate solutions, they become their own nightmare with debaucherous lifestyles and miscalculation. Many stories like Johnson's life is a good approach to life and remind us that Failure can be our greatest teacher in life.
