Hello everybody here, how are we doing today, this is a very interesting topic that requires honest attention, and this is my take.
To be honest, if I saw a briefcase by the roadside and opened it to find $500,000 inside, the first thing that would run through my mind is “Wow! Who in the world leaves this kind of money lying around?” But if I later find out that the money belongs to a well-known politician who is now actively searching for it, would I return it? My answer is no. I won’t return it.
It might sound harsh, but let me explain.
Politicians have been stealing from the poor and helpless for years. We all see it every day, the roads are bad, no jobs, hospitals are failing, and most of them keep living large with stolen public funds. They promise the people everything during campaigns but deliver nothing once they get into office. So now, a politician "loses" half a million dollars in cash? That alone raises too many red flags.
First of all, how did he or she get that much cash? What is the person’s official salary? Is it legal to walk around with such a huge amount in a briefcase? There’s every chance that this money is stolen, public funds that were meant for better schools, healthcare, electricity, and other basic needs for the people.
Secondly, returning the money could even be dangerous for me and my family. I mean, let’s think about it well. If the money is illegal or connected to something shady, then anyone who finds out about it becomes a problem to whoever owns it. What if they see me as a threat? What if they think I’ve seen too much or know something I shouldn’t? What if they don’t want anybody else to know about the money? The risk is too high.
Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying I will never return lost money. If it was a struggling trader or a businessman who misplaced the money, I’ll think differently. Especially if the money was clean and genuinely earned. But a politician? With the way things are going in this country, I’m sorry, I just can’t. I won’t feel any guilt because for once, maybe karma just decided to pay a visit.
I know everyone has their own morals and opinions, and some might say two wrongs don’t make a right. I understand that too. But in this kind of situation, I honestly think keeping that money is the safer and smarter thing to do. If they can explain where the money came from publicly and show it’s legal, then maybe we can talk.
Until then, my answer remains no.
Thanks, have a nice day.
That's very good thinking. If I were in this shoe my answer will be" no" as well
😂😂, I think ild also got or no, some of these politicians are showing us sheege
As in sheege pro max
🤣🤣🤣I love how honest you were. I realized you were serious when you said you would have returned it if it was for a trader. 🤣
Great entry
Yes I would have
Hello 👋 I understand your point. But at the same time what if it was a test from the Almighty. Thanks for sharing.
You also have a point but a politician?
Hahahah 🤣 God can use anybody to test you.
