DEAR MUM,

I honestly don’t even know where to start because no amount of words could ever be enough to express how much you mean to me. But I’ll try, because you deserve every single word and more.

Thank you for being my strength when life felt heavy. Thank you for carrying not just your own weight but the weight of three children on your shoulders, and doing it so gracefully that we never lacked. Since the day we lost Dad, I’ve watched you become more than just a mother. You became a warrior, a provider, a protector, and a guiding light for all of us.

Mum, you never allowed us to feel the absence of anything. You made sure we were always comfortable, always fed, always clothed—not just with material things, but with love, kindness, and safety. You gave up your own desires so that we could have chances in life. I have seen you break just to make sure we never did. That is a kind of love that can’t be measured.

Today, you are the proud mother of two graduates, and very soon, it will be three. And that’s all because of your unwavering sacrifice and belief in us. You never stopped pushing us, never stopped praying for us, and never stopped reminding us that we could do anything. And Mum, we believed you. We still do.

You are my rock. The one person I know I can turn to at any time, in any situation, and you’ll be there—not with judgment, but with open arms and words of wisdom. Your strength humbles me. Your courage motivates me. And your love sustains me. I want you to know that nothing you’ve ever done for me has gone unnoticed. I carry it all in my heart.

I promise you, I’m going to make you so proud. Everything I’m working towards, every step I take, It all for you. I’m working with all my strength to make you proud. I will always do everything in my power to see you smile.

You deserve everything good in this life and more. And one day, I’m going to give you the world. For now, I’ll give you my deepest love and appreciation.
