Vanity Trap, The Price You End Up Paying.

As a student we tend to see many things while in school and i personally saw many funny things, starting from the behaviors of the students to how they live their independent lives to how they cohabitate as couples and many other things, to an extent I had to study some specific group of people just to know how to handle them, and looking into all these things you would just be seeing how people diversely thing because we are not the same, so for today's prompt I would be participating on the contest topic Diverse Opinions, walk with me as we scroll further analysing the topic.

I am a very simple lady yeah, atleast that's what I tell myself even though it doesn't matter what you think but the point is I just like been real with no too much attachment or unease. I see students who barely feed, who struggle to pay for assignment or handouts in school, going to a mini boutique and buying clothes that's worth more than #20,000, the one that I recently saw was a girl saving money, struggling to feed and when the money reached up to a certain amount she took it and bought human hair worth 250k and I would just be imagining if she will sleep in the same room with that kind of costly hair.

Am not saying looking good is the problem or even bad but what am saying is why not do it at the right time, take life step by step don't rush to do it because others are doing it and you want to follow the trend, all these kind of things are what make people to indulge in things that are not right just because they want to belong or them too want to be counted among those who have wore this or bought that, that's absolutely why we see prostitute today even in school and the most shocking part is that they sell their body too cheap for my liking because you who is worth more than rubies would be priced down like pepper in the market, I overheard a girl's conversation in school where she was telling the person over the phone that 10k is not manageable he should add something ontop, I also heard a guy saying that so so girl use to give for 5k and I was now like wow!

My point is these set of people make big deals out of vain things that would be here today and gone tomorrow, infact my mom would say "food that you would eat and shit out" so you see why I consider it as something we shouldn't put mind it as if it defines us, people call these kind of things that are clinged into wrongly as material things and we know what is also said about it, vanity upon vanity. So the saving of money, the going about as if you are God because of what you wear is not actually worth it for me, I think people should focus their energy on something different something more productive, as for me I would always tell people around me that anything that is not productive you won't find me there.

I was in a decision with one of my neighbors in school and we were randomly having a nice time together when she started telling me how the compound people have been talking about her at her back and all the response she could get from me was just gestures, I ended up giving her clues to avoid all these kind of gossiping, I even used myself as an example telling her how I use to mind myself, focus on what is paying me and all that, so even this aspect shouldn't be what ladies carry ontop their head as if they are the queens of lastest happenings around.
