Every day has always been another day to wake up to a stressful life. Most of the time, I feel pressured to ask myself a lot of questions, like “When will I rest?” But in the end, the response I get is that I have to get up again and keep up with the time I spent thinking for the time I will rest.
The workload I have to face at work is like a heavy chain wrapped across my neck. You know what’s funny? Once I am able to wake up and drag the chain a little, then I am out of the first pain I had to endure before dragging the chain. After this, I get to chill out till the next phase of pain surfaces.

Most times come with relief at the end, and this will also serve as a reason to keep going. But why does it have to keep repeating itself that way? Resume and restart.
Rest! It actually, at some point, became something I admired so much. It appeared so close, but was way distant from me. It’s something I want for myself, but so hard to get; it’s something I see others get so easily, but I never knew how they would go about it.
Maybe. There are some people who have paid the sacrifice, and now they are reaping the rewards. I guess that is more of a reason why they should rest better. But why do I still see some people resisting the urge to rest?
Hmmn. No rest? Then you mean I will just have to keep working all day out, from one point to another, after one solved problem to another, till the day I leave this world. Some say the day you die is the day you rest. But what’s the assurance that when you leave the world you will get to rest even in your afterlife?

Only those who get to visit that place can tell. The so-called afterlife might not be a place of rest. If it’s really a place of rest, then everyone might have wished to visit.
The battle will never end, because as humans, restlessness is just a part of us, and resting is a part of nature; it is something we truly need. This is why even if we decide not to rest, we face it otherwise. When every part of our body seizes to deliver properly, then we will be on a mandatory rest.
Though I know the world will not give room for you to rest, at your workplace they will always want to use you overtime, your business might be taking all of your energy, your daily life has been requesting so much attention. But apparently, that shouldn’t be a reason why you won’t rest.
Rest won’t come voluntarily; it’s your choice to make time to rest. If you don’t, then you might be left with no choice but to rest forcefully.

“Good better best, may you never rest” have you forgotten what you said in Primary school? Now you are complaining 😂😂😂😂
But seriously, it’s true. I believe that the world is such that you aren’t going to rest if you yourself dont make time to rest.
