The Power of Obsidian Dreadcore
With the arrival of the Escalation Pack cards, many new strategies can be created in Splinterlands, and that's incredible. In this post, I'll talk about the Obsidian Dreadcore card, one of my favorites from this pack.
Before continuing to talk about Splinterlands, I'll talk a little about Arcade Colony.
Arcade Colony
Arcade Colony is a web-based platform where mainstream games can deploy Web3 features. Newly created games, as well as previously released games, can now add tokens, digital collectibles, trading, renting, earning, and governance to their games. Thus, Arcade Colony hosts a series of published games similar to the Epic Games Store, Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Steam, but unlike Web2 publishers, Arcade Colony augments new and existing games with Web3 features.

My main focus is on Splinterlands and Moon Karts because in my opinion they are the most fun and profitable.

Obsidian Dreadcore
When it comes to dealing damage in battle, Obsidian Dreadcore will be a great ally. It's an Epic card from the dragon deck and has 5 abilities.
Obsidian Dreadcore only costs 5 mana to use in battles and its main weakness is having low health, so it can be easily defeated in battle.
The abilities that Obsidian Dreadcore has are: Charge, Determined, Demoralize, Enfeeble, Kindred Spirit: Execute.
Charge
Can use melee attacks from any position.
Determined
After missing an attack, makes a second attack against the same target.
Demoralize
-1 melee power to all enemy units.
Enfeeble
-1 to target's melee power after each successful attack.
Kindred Spirit: Execute
At the start of the battle, adjacent units with Kindred Spirit will gain the specified ability.
Execute - If the target has 2 or less health after a successful attack, perform another attack against the same unit.
With the right strategy protecting Obsidian Dreadcore, it will become a great ally for dealing damage to enemy cards without spending much mana.
