In this post I'll talk about the Ambassador System in Splinterlands, a great way to increase your in-game earnings.

Before continuing with Splinterlands, let's learn a little about Arcade Colony.

Arcade Colony is a web-based platform where mainstream games can deploy Web3 features. Newly created games, as well as previously released games, can now add tokens, digital collectibles, trading, renting, earning, and governance to their games. Thus, Arcade Colony hosts a series of published games similar to the Epic Games Store, Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Steam, but unlike Web2 publishers, Arcade Colony augments new and existing games with Web3 features.

Let's see how the Ambassador System works in Splinterlands.

The first step is to go to the Gear icon next to your Username and choose the Ambassador Status option.

This is the Ambassador System page and there you will find your Referral Link. You will use this link to invite other people to Splinterlands and you will receive benefits.

The Ambassador System benefits are divided into 2 Tiers: Silver and Gold.

Silver Tier

To enter the Silver Tier you need to refer at least 1 friend to Splinterlands.

There are 2 benefits in the Silver Tier:

• You and your friends each earn 500 Credits when they purchase a Spellbook.

• Earn 5% of your friends’ end-of-season Glint rewards.

These are great benefits and will help your progress in Splinterlands; you can use the rewards to buy or rent cards to use in battles.

Gold Tier

To enter the Gold Tier, you need 10 referrals who have at least $100 in purchases (via primary, secondary, or rental markets).

There are 4 benefits in the Gold Tier:

• The benefits of the Silver Tier.

• Earn a 5% bonus for all packs your friends purchase.

• Earn 1% of your friends’ transactions on peer-to-peer markets.

It's not easy to reach the Gold Tier, but the benefits are great.

Important details about the benefits.

• Referrals must use a referral link to be eligible.

• Up to 100% of your end-of-season Glint rewards.

• Includes purchases and rentals made in-game and on supported third-party websites.

• Bonus is paid in DEC.

• Only applies to packs from the most recent set purchased from the in-game shop.

• Includes purchases and rentals made in-game and on supported third-party websites

• The minimum payout is 0.001 DEC* per transaction (smaller amounts are rounded to zero)

• A Spellbook is required to earn DEC.
