CNF #128.....New Realization.

Angela welcomed me into the compound even before I could even pack my luggage inside the house, she told her first son John, to help me out with my bags. I thought i had found someone whom I could lean back on if i needed help.

We started getting along and her kids and mine had a good rapport. Things were going pretty well until one faithful evening when I heard Angela scolding my children. I thought she would relate what the matter was about to me but she did not and so I felt it was not necessary.

All of a sudden i noticed she started giving me attitude. she doesn't greet me like before and whenever she sees me she takes her face off me . I did not bother about the change in attitude as i kept on greeting her.

I noticed she kept on tempting me by looking for ways we could exchange words but i always overlook her antics and move on.

Six months ago, her daughter named Mercy saw me coming out of the compound in a haste she then went and stood at the entrance of the gate .

"Mercy, excuse me I need to pass" I said to her but she ignored me and in the process of her trying to lead her friends out of the way she fell down , i didn't even notice her fall because i was in a haste.

Just for me to return back from where i went to purchase some items and I heard angela who is my neighbor uttering different kinds of harsh words. As I approached, I got the clue that she was referring to me and so I walked uo to her to get a clear view on what's happening.

"Angela, what happened? Why are you raising your voice?"

"Mummy Godswill, Mercy said you pushed her away from the gate". She responded to me.

"I did no such thing. I replied back to her."

"That's a lie, I'm sure that you did it" she was still insisting so i left her and walked away.

Angela was not satisfied with my silence, she went ahead and called one of her daughter's friend to stand as a witness.

"Tope, did mummy Godswill push Mercy on her way out ?" Angela asked her daughter's friend

"Ma, I didn't didnt notice if she did or not as my attention was not there" Tope replied.

Tope's parents were not around, as at the time of the incident but when they returned and heard about the issue, they were displeased. They warned Angela to desist form such behavoiur but she was unrelenting.

After that very dramatic experience, everyone stayed on thier own minding their business, but as weeks passes by i noticed Angela's absence in the compound. it bothered me so i had to make inquiry and i was told her mum was sick and she took the mum to her home town .

But her mom did not make it ,she kicked the bucket. i went to smpathize with her when i heard the news. she was preparing to traveling for her mother's funeral. I and my husband supported Angela with some reasonable amount of money that she was so shocked.

She did not believe we would give her a helping hand at that period and she was so greatful, But to my surprise two months after she came back Angela got back into her character of not responding well whenever i greeted her. I had to approach her to find out ehat eas wrong.

*"Good morning, hope there is no problem. if i have offended you in anyway please let me know so that i can apologize because i noticed that you don't respond well to my greetings loke before.

*"She replied with a simple "No".

That was when it dawned on me that she had a psychological problem, for her to behave that way, even to the person who gave her helping hand few monthsvpago. I had to stay clear from her and her troubles.
