It was Aunty Monica's birthday. Aunty Monica is a big area sister to my friend Lucia who is a childhood friend of mine. We've been together for ages. We do everything together. During the weekend, we are either at hers or mine so I have to take part in aunty Monica's party.

We enjoyed the birthday party, saved our guests, entertained everybody with good music, good Vibe and everybody went back to their houses after we did the packing and cleaning then we forgot about it but Little did I know that Lucia was still Interested In learning how to make delicious cookies. She appeared at the door like an angel wearing a fine long beautiful dress with silver jewellery with a pair of beautiful wristwatch and fine silver slippers which she said was given to her by her boyfriend. We used exactly the same measurement of flour, sugar and butter then the mixing began.

We had only mixed The butter and sugar batter for few minutes when Lucia said Omo I was like **what do you mean, You enjoy delicious cookies don't you? **she said yes, i do then I said you know I told you the other time that it is not as easy as it looks she said oh I remember that, You mean you went through all these To make hundreds of cookies with in that short period the other day Ah I admire your courage. I responded saying thank you but you have to learn all the same.

After a lot of encouragement, whining, laughing, and mixing through pain and arm ache, all that Lucia was able to make were few samples and I was proud of her. All that matters is her progress. It was delicious. She enjoyed it and took some home to her boyfriend. For me, it was not a wasteful day after all because we all enjoyed ourselves.
