Unplanned Sunday Shopping... XD

While I was having my class on Teams last night, my desktop computer's mouse suddenly started acting up. It wasn't moving at all, even though I excused myself from my student to try and fix it. It completely gave up.

So, I continued the lesson using some keyboard shortcuts to navigate the material page, and sent messages to my student using my phone. It was a hassle, but we were able to finish the 2-hour class well.

I planned to edit the material for my class the next day after that evening's lesson, but I don't have a functional mouse, so I decided to cancel my class this morning and go out to get a new one. And since I'm going out to buy something, I decided to take it as a chance to do some upgrades in my mini office.

This is my go-to place for when I need something for my PC. It's just a 15-minute ride from our house, and they have good products and friendly staff.

Instead of getting just a mouse, getting a 2-in-1 keyboard and mouse set is a much better deal. To be honest, this is pricey for me since I usually tend to get the cheapest option, but I thought it's an investment for my job and blogging, so it would be better to prioritize the quality first.



We had to test the product before finalizing the purchase... and I must say, I really like it. I'm using both of them now, and it's so comfortable and smooth to use. <3

First purchase done!!! :)
Mama asked us to do some errands since we're already here, so we went grocery shopping. Before that, I asked papa to go to the hardware store with me because I had to make a couple of purchases for my mini office. My LED strips are almost dead, so I wanted to change the lighting in my office under my loft bed. I also want to get some stuff to cover the growing hole in the floor mat under my chair. XD

It's a Sunday, so even though we went there before lunch, there were already a lot of people and long queues. It'll get worse in the afternoon. This is one of the reasons why I don't like going out on a weekend. It's so crowded. T_T But what can I do? I had no choice since I need to work tomorrow. I don't want to cancel any more classes. haha

Finally going home... it was hot, but as you can see in the last photo, there's a huge puddle. It was raining cats and dogs the night before. There were even thunderstorms, so today is extra humid. It's almost 80% humidity! haha It's still tolerable, though. The temperature in my area hasn't reached the usual high during this time of year, but we still have to be careful and stay hydrated. :)

This was what I bought to cover the hole in my floor mat. I just bought six... I have no moneyyyy~ T_T

Yep... still messy, sorry. XD But yeah, there's another hole behind, but will cover that next time... when I have enough budget. haha

And lastly, my new keyboard and mouse!!! :D

I love it! :) I'm more determined to work and blog now. hahaha They have interesting functions that my old ones didn't have, so it is fun to use.

It came with some free stickers, too! They're so cool! I placed a couple of them on the keyboard. Have you noticed them?

My speaker is from the same brand and I've been using this for years! It's still functioning well, so I hope the same thing happens for these two.

And so, that's what my Sunday was like. I'll make lesson material for my class tomorrow, then start drawing for a collaboration I'm working on with another Hivean. :)
