In the meantime, inflation keeps inflating. Average Joe still struggles more and more with daily expenses. Dollar getting attacked. Oil goes up. Banks close one after the other. Ukraine war continues. And I hear a cool new variant is brewing as we speak in India too.
Even fucking McDonalds had a meeting or something, to discuss their future. According to rumors, they will soon announce thousands of layoffs. Fucking McDonald's, the backbone of American economy! Well, short of. š

Yeah, I am not a genius but this doesn't look good to me. These are tech layoffs. Just look at all those sexy red dildos starting from November last year. And the trend doesn't look good either.
And almost half of the layoffs since January 2022 occurred in just the first three months of 2023.
Does this look bullish for the tech sector? For BTC?
The rise of AI probably won't help much either. I mean for the tech layoffs. Not to mention other, darker scenarios. Not necessarily AI going rogue. Even just the wrong people using it the right way is enough. So yeah, let's give chatgbt internet access. Genius!
Or maybe AI will save us all. Or doge. Dunno. I still believe any pump we see these days is just whales doing whale stuff, trying to keep the ponzi till it busts hard.

So many examples of sudden disruptive change in history. Countless. What they had in common was once the dust settled, more, different, new jobs were created. It's very difficult to predict what will come from this.
Certainly entertainment industry can adapt and still make money. Probably space industries. Robotics. Writing fluff to cram between advertisements on a website, stuff like that is out the door. Menials tasks in the office, gone. And just because it made money, that doesn't mean humanity actually needed it in the first place.
Just gotta go with the flow I guess. Much of what people fear about AI is still science fiction as well, so there's that.

Maybe. Still, I think inflation is just one of the many challenges we face today,, and I dont see any real solutions taking place anytime soon.

Layoffs are normal, and healthy for big firms. Who needs a gender affirmation representative or gender equity or race equity responsible? These are mindless jobs, that just make the overhead cost go high. Firms need to be efficient and make money, else they would be NGOs.

The shit is only warming up as we went up by 50 base points this month and the squeeze is on for everyone. They said 2024 would be bad so this trend is not going to ease up anytime soon and time to batten down the hatches. We have crypto so things are not that bad for all of us as the majority of people don't have that. Maybe some opportunities for those who have money picking up repo properties on the cheap.

I don't think tech is all that bullish right now and we probably in a period of recession. I feel that it's the laggards that are making up the space for now. As for Elon, he has always been unpredictable and it makes me wonder because of the DOGE lawsuit he is in.
