Stinky Voyager Dollar

What's up plebs?!

I am back with yet another silver coin. This one is something I got some months ago along some other neat stuff as a gift from my gay fren @bitcoinman ❤️

Let's check it out:

As you can see, it has some SERIOUS toning going on and knowing @bitcoinman I can only assume the coin has come multiple times in touch with his bodily fluids 😄

Good thing it's closed air tight or the stink would be simply unbearable 😩🦨

As you can see it's a Canadian Voyager dollar, a coin I have shown you multiple times so nothing new to say. Quick reminder, we have 23.33 g of 0.800 silver. Juicy!

The voyageur dollar is a coin of Canada that was struck for circulation from 1935 through 1986. Until 1968, the coin was composed of 80% silver. A smaller, nickel version for general circulation was struck from 1968 through 1986. In 1987, the coin was replaced by the loonie. Like all of Canada's discontinued coins, the voyageur dollar coins remain legal tender.

Wiki has plenty of info if you'd like to read more on them!

Here are some more shots for your viewing pleasure:

All in all, an amazing gift :D

Ok friends, this is it for today. As always, see you soon with more shiny 😄

Thanks again @bitcoinman

Looks like it went through a polar bear at least once. I'm sure the RCM doesn't subject our bears to this sort of treatment. Not that I know of.
It's still worth 0.6 troy oz. of silver.

It looks like a great coin and it's a nice rare coin. I guess being discontinued makes it a bit rare.

Only you can make silver stacking sound like a wild party 😂 That toning looks like it’s been through 3 lifetimes and a spicy sauna session!
