The Powerful Flamesmith in Battle

Today I'm going to talk about the Flamesmith card in Splinterlands, so join me on this brief journey of knowledge through the game.

As I've mentioned several times, I'm a big fan of older edition cards in the game because they make me feel a great nostalgia for the golden age of Splinterlands.

This is Flamesmith, a common card in the fire deck that costs 7 mana to use in battles. Flamesmith is a ranged attack card, and its biggest weakness is its low health, so it can be easily defeated if it's the main target of enemy attacks.

I like Flamesmith because it has two very useful abilities in battles: Shatter and Repair.

Shatter: Successful attacks destroy the target's armor.

*This ability will be a great ally against enemy cards that have armor, especially tank cards that have a lot of armor to protect themselves in battles.

Repair: Restores 2 armor (up to max) to the allied unit with the most damage to its armor.

Armor is very useful against melee and ranged attacks, so this ability is also a great ally in battles, especially when the opponent doesn't have many cards with magic attacks.

Another reason I like cards from older editions is that I can rent them for a great price since many players don't use them in their battles, so Flamesmith is a good choice to have without spending too much.

This is not an investment tip.

Now let's take a look at how Flamesmith works in battles.

Watch The Battle

In this battle I can show how useful the Flamesmith is with its abilities, especially the Repair ability which is powerful when your opponent has several melee or ranged cards in the battle. My opponent has 3 ranged cards, so the armor is very useful.

Now I'll talk about the Arcade Colony platform. On it, you'll find the games: Splinterlands , Moon Karts, StakeHouse Den, and Genesis League Goals.

For those unfamiliar with Arcade Colony, it's owned by Invennium Corp. Arcade Colony is a platform for arcades and video games with a functional economy based on a governance token, "COLONY", and a product-backed stablecoin called "SCRIPT".

Invennium Corp. is a 100% subsidiary of Splinterlands.
