Spending Glint with Rarity Draws in Splinterlands

My main focus in Splinterlands is building a collection of powerful cards to use in my battles. Currently, I'm getting Reward Cards, Chaos Legion Edition cards, and Foundation Cards.

I chose these cards because they are easy and cheap to obtain, so they are the best options in my opinion to start your journey in Splinterlands.

Today I'm going to spend some of the Glint I earned during the season to open Rarity Draws and get some Reward Cards.

In Splinterlands there is the Glint Shop, and you can access it by going to the SHOP option and then to Rewards.

In the Glint Shop you only use Glint, and there are several options to choose from. My focus is on Reward Cards, and for that reason I always choose to spend my Glint on Rarity Draws or Loot Chests.

Initially, I want to evolve all the Common rarity Reward Cards, so I'm spending my Glint on Common Draws.

Each Common Draw costs 300 Glint and gives the player a random Common Card. I'm going to buy 20 Common Draws, which means I'll get 20 random Common Cards.

In total I spent 6000 Glint, now let's see the cards I received.

An important detail is to always use Alchemy Potions when opening Rarity Draws; this potion increases your chances of getting Gold Foil cards, and they are valuable and very useful.

  • Using Gold Foil cards gives a 10% bonus to SPS and Glint rewards from ranked battles.

  • The Gold Foil cards you receive in the Glint Shop are tradable, meaning you can sell them to increase your in-game profits.

Now let's take a look at the cards I received opening the Common Draws.

Since I chose the Rarity Draw, all the cards will be of the same rarity. There were 20 Common Cards, and unfortunately, I wasn't lucky enough to get any Gold Foil cards.

There are great Common Cards in the Reward Cards, so I decided to start with them. Another reason is that my Glint gain isn't very high during the season, so I'm focusing on that rarity while I change my strategies.

Now I'll talk about the Arcade Colony platform. On it, you'll find the games: Splinterlands, Moon Karts, StakeHouse Den, and Genesis League Goals.

For those unfamiliar with Arcade Colony, it's owned by Invennium Corp. Arcade Colony is a platform for arcades and video games with a functional economy based on a governance token, "COLONY", and a product-backed stablecoin called "SCRIPT".

Invennium Corp. is a 100% subsidiary of Splinterlands.
