Today I'm going to open Foundation packs in Splinterlands, so join me on this brief journey of discovery.
In Splinterlands, one of the main assets for earning rewards are cards. You use them in battles and receive rewards when you are victorious.
Currently, my focus is on Foundation Cards, Reward Cards, and Chaos Legion Cards. I chose these cards because they are the easiest and cheapest to obtain in Splinterlands.
To get cards in Splinterlands, there are 3 options:
Buying and opening packs.
Buying cards from other players on the market.
Renting cards from other players on the market.
If you are a beginner, then I recommend renting cards first to test them in battle and create your strategies, but if you don't want to spend money renting cards, then you can test the cards using Practice Mode.

There are several settings in Practice Mode; soon I will make a post explaining in more detail about this incredible mode that serves to test all the cards in Splinterlands.
Now let's see how much the Foundation pack currently costs.

The lowest price for the Foundation pack currently is $0.07 and you can choose to pay with Credits or DEC.
I'm going to buy 3 packs and I'll spend 337 DEC in total.

To open packs in Splinterlands you need to go to the OPEN option in the upper left corner of the website.
In this option you will be able to open all the packs you own in Splinterlands.
Remember that there are 2 very useful potions when opening packs and they are:
Alchemy Potion: This potion increases the chances of getting Gold Foil cards in packs.
Legendary Potion: This potion increases the chances of getting Legendary cards in packs.
Each pack in Splinterlands gives the player 5 random cards and for each card you consume 1 Alchemy Potion and 1 Legendary Potion.
In total I'll need 15 Alchemy potions and 15 Legendary potions.

I didn't get any very valuable cards, but they're great cards to use in the Frontier format, especially Glimmermancer.

Now I'll talk about the Arcade Colony platform. On it, you'll find the games: Splinterlands, Moon Karts, StakeHouse Den, and Genesis League Goals.
For those unfamiliar with Arcade Colony, it's owned by Invennium Corp. Arcade Colony is a platform for arcades and video games with a functional economy based on a governance token, "COLONY", and a product-backed stablecoin called "SCRIPT".
Invennium Corp. is a 100% subsidiary of Splinterlands.
