Today I'm going to talk about the Spirit of the Forest card in Splinterlands, so join me on this brief journey of learning about the game.
I've mentioned several times that cards from older editions are my favorites in the game, and I still use them in my battles because they're still useful and I can rent them for a good price, unlike before when rental prices were very high.

This is the Spirit of the Forest, a legendary card from the Alpha/Beta edition and belonging to the Earth Deck. I'm not a big fan of the Earth Deck, but I have to admit it's a great deck for using cards with spell attacks.
The Spirit of the Forest has ranged attacks, and the main reason I like this card is its abilities.
The abilities of the Spirit of the Forest are: Flying, Snipe, Tank Heal, and Protect.
I like the Tank Heal ability and the Protect ability, but let's get to know all these abilities.

Flying: +25% chance to evade physical attacks. No effect if the attacker also has Flying. Immune to Earthquake.
This is an ability you'll love to have and hate to face because the card possessing it will dodge many attacks.

Snipe: Magic and ranged attacks target the first non-melee enemy unit behind the first position.
This is a great ability to target the opponent's backline.

Tank Heal: Each round, restores 1/3 of max health (rounded down) to the allied unit in the first position.
Healing abilities are very useful for making cards survive longer.

Protect: +2 armor to all allied units.
Armor is very useful for protecting against physical damage.
Now let's take a look at what Spirit of the Forest is like in battle.

I'll use this battle as an example; in it, I can perfectly demonstrate how healing abilities and armor are useful in battles in Splinterlands.
This wasn't an easy battle and it took several rounds, but my strategy was perfect to dominate my opponent and achieve victory.

Now I'll talk about the Arcade Colony platform. On it, you'll find the games: Splinterlands, Moon Karts, StakeHouse Den, and Genesis League Goals.
For those unfamiliar with Arcade Colony, it's owned by Invennium Corp. Arcade Colony is a platform for arcades and video games with a functional economy based on a governance token, "COLONY", and a product-backed stablecoin called "SCRIPT".
Invennium Corp. is a 100% subsidiary of Splinterlands.
