In Splinterlands, having a strong frontline defense is important, and for that reason, today I'm going to talk about the Corsair Bosun card. So, join me on this brief journey of knowledge.

This is Corsair Bosun, a rare card belonging to the Life deck that will be a great ally in defending battles in Splinterlands. Unfortunately, Corsair Bosun has a high mana cost, but it possesses excellent abilities that make it one of the best options for the second position in battles.

Now let's learn about Corsair Bosun abilities: Reach, Deflect, and Cleanse.

Reach: Can use melee attacks from the second position.

Unfortunately, melee cards can only attack from the first position, so the Reach ability is essential for Corsair Bosun to be a good choice in the second position.

Deflect: 0 damage from Corrosive Ward, Magic Reflect, Thorns, Return Fire, and Blast Splash damage.

The Deflect ability is the reason Corsair Bosun is a great defense in the second position, especially if your opponent uses the summoner Yodin Zaku.

Cleanse: Removes all magic debuffs from the allied unit in the first position.

With the Cleanse ability, Corsair Bosun is a great support for the defensive card in the first position.
