It turns out women have Carl Djerassi and Frank Colton to thank for the opportunity to decide when they want babies and when they want to stay out of the labor room. History even records these two people had made it possible for women to take up different careers and never worry about having to go for maternity leaves as a result of an unexpected pregnancy.

The two folks had changed the course of history when they introduced the morning-after pill into the market. Even though a lot of religious folks had kicked against it and some countries hadn't been left out in regulations and restrictions, the pill still took the market by storm and generated lots of revenue.
In the past women had no control over when they got pregnant and some of them might have understood their ovulation but the rest of the ignorant ones grew helpless as they gave birth to a lot of mouths than they could possibly feed. This had increased the rates of crime because the children would definitely look for a way to survive and since the home wasn't providing enough of that, crime became prevalent and insecurities too.
Unplanned pregnancies and the lack of options for birth control made women helpless and defenseless against the suffering their children passed through because they brought them into the world without a means of feeding them.
Writing about this right now makes me happy because Carl and Colton had also given me a choice as to when I want a baby and when I just want to enjoy sex without boundaries and fear of getting pregnant untimely.
Even though the morning-after pill might make a lot of women abuse the tendency of not getting caught cheating on their husbands, it had increase the level of control they have over their bodies and how they want it to work.
The morning-after pill is a typical example of businesses that offered value and was embraced by the crowd they catered to without so much obstruction because they were clearly serving a need. So all of those restrictions countries placed on the distribution and access did not really keep it down because the women knew what they wanted and this drug proved to be useful for getting it.
