We'll take everything! :)

You've probably experienced this situation when, for example, you're looking to make a purchase and have trouble deciding on a choice due to the wide range of options. So, to avoid further doubt, you decide to buy everything, and life will sort everything out.

This could apply to anything, from choosing the color of a T-shirt to something more valuable.

So, when my parents decided to introduce me to philately and postage stamp collecting, they didn't focus on one specific theme, as many do, but bought every series of postage stamps that were available at the time.

It was a deliberate decision, at least for my father, who had previously collected everything chess-themed, postage stamps, badges, calendars, and souvenirs.

I think he wanted to steer me down a more narrow path, but my mother wouldn't let him, but that's just my guess.

Thanks to this, I had plenty of room to develop my collection, and I certainly wasn't bored, and I gained more knowledge from it than if I'd collected, say, postage stamps on automobiles or ships.

My grandfather used to say that a real man should know a little bit of everything and something thoroughly, but it would be immodest to say that I know everything thoroughly, but, a little bit, I definitely know about everything :)

A kaleidoscope of bright colors and unforgettable impressions—that was the beginning, and indeed the entire journey, of collecting postage stamps.

We take everything, sometimes the right decision :)
