For example, it's good to forget winter or summer once they're over.

I'm sure that sometimes, you and I remember with warmth the winter chill in the summer and the summer warmth during winter, and these are things we'd like to forget before they arrive.

Why indulge yourself with such thoughts instead of looking for something good in the time you find yourself in right now.
