Someone needs this – the Meadow Honey Fungus, Marasmius oreades.

You never know what knowledge might come in handy in the future, and in my spare time, I try to delve deeper into gardening, beekeeping, and now it's time to start mushroom growing.

Out of curiosity, I decided to find out what kind of mushroom mycelium can be purchased at what price in our country, and I was very surprised.

Yes, the reason for my surprise was very simple and understandable: I saw for sale the mycelium of a mushroom that mushroom pickers rarely collect, only when there are no other mushrooms around and mushroom pickers are content with the fisherman's principle: where there are no fish, even a crayfish can be called a fish.

This mushroom is shown in the photographs and is called the Meadow Honey Fungus, or Marasmius oreades.

Mature mushrooms are tiny and very fragile, making them difficult to tempt, but they taste quite good, although spending time and money growing them doesn't seem like a wise idea.

But if someone's putting them up for sale, that means someone needs them!
