A few days ago, the question of whether to think about getting a dog again came up on the agenda in our family, but then, many other questions appeared, and what kind of dog, what breed?

There were probably times when a person, having decided to get a dog, simply got a dog without any extra thoughts, for the reason that dogs were, how can I say it correctly lol, dogs and only without much difference in their appearance, in mind, skills and habits.

With the same light heart, people planted potatoes, without thinking about its variety, grew beautiful lilies on their lawn, or they simply did beekeeping, because no one thought about the fact that even bees can be of different breeds.

On the one hand, the purpose of creating hybrids is to make people's lives easier, an attempt to save their time and energy when trying to get the result of their work, be it training dogs, growing flowers and garden crops, or an attempt to improve the quality of honey collection.

But, on the other hand, how much of your time you need to spend to understand all the pros and cons of these hybrids was clearly not taken into account when they were created.

And it would seem that there is nothing complicated here, take and use what other people have created in an improved form, but not everything is so simple.

By betting on hybrids that degenerate with generations and become less productive, we tie our activities to those who can sell us the first generation of a hybrid, and if we try to provide ourselves with, for example, plant seeds for their further cultivation, then the hybrid will degenerate in two or three years.

So, when choosing a specific breed of bee colony, we must accept that if we do not periodically buy a new queen bee of the same breed from the hybrid supplier, our bee colony will lose the original characteristics of this breed and will tend to become what dogs call mongrel mongrels.
