I want to become a beekeeper! - World of honey - Heather honey.

This post is a continuation of the conversation about the varieties of honey that I learned about while studying beekeeping.

It is interesting to learn something new, and speaking about honey, you can learn a lot about the plants that surround us.

It is believed that it is not bad at all if there is a pond near the apiary where bees can replenish their water supplies, and in our area there are many swamps where there is too much water.

And where there is water, there is vegetation in full swing, there you can collect a grand herbarium.

Today I want to refresh my thoughts about honey, which I personally have never tried, but they say that it is very tasty and useful for humans, this is heather honey.

They say that heather grows everywhere in our swamps, but I must admit, I have not seen its abundant thickets, and it is difficult not to notice it when it blooms.

However, if I do not see something, this does not mean that it is not there, bees are more perspicacious in finding flowering plants than I am lol.

So, on the one hand, the presence of heather chalk in the hive can please the beekeeper, but this honey must be immediately removed from the hive, since it, like honeydew honey or honeydew honey, crystallizes very quickly and cannot serve as food for bees, and this must be taken into account in the process of forming a bee nest for the winter.

I hope that one day I will try this honey, which is still mysterious to me, and will be able to share my impressions of it.

Material thoughts about beekeeping №1

When I visited dense forests, I did not see ideal conditions for bees there, but many beekeepers harvest beekeeping products in such places.
