You look, and everything seems to become clear and this looks like it can be considered a starting point, but a couple of days will pass and even the same beekeeper will add something to what was said and this will go against the previous information lol.

Yes, when I spoke in my previous articles about beekeeping, which are my reminders for me as a novice beekeeper, that I decided on the choice of the hive system and this is a lying hive, then, this was largely determined by the fact that it is much easier to expand purchased bee colonies with a cart than hives, for which it is necessary to use honeycombs built by bees, called dry.

But, literally today, I recognize such a moment, spring, as the time for a start, and this means that there are many flowering plants, including willow.

And willow gives a lot of pollen and bees actively bring it into the hive and seal it in frames with brood, since in addition to frames with brood, we will only have a few frames of wax foundation.

It doesn't seem scary, but if there is pollen everywhere in the honeycombs, then the queen bee has nowhere to lay her eggs and the bee colony will stop developing and may even die.

And this means that, whether we want it or not, we need to immediately negotiate with the beekeeper from whom we buy bee packages about selling several frames with dry bees for an additional fee, two or three per hive, otherwise, if he refuses to sell them to us, it is better to refuse such a deal, it is too risky.

If we managed to acquire frames with dry matter, they will give the bee colony the opportunity to collect pollen and develop the seeding of honeycombs with new bees.
