Yesterday, continuing to make notes for myself about how I should start such a difficult business as beekeeping, I mentioned neighbors on the border of the plot, who may not like the presence of buzzing, stinging insects next to them, this is understandable lol.

You know, neighbors are such a thing that is difficult to understand and there are three ways to communicate with them, this is peace, which does not happen often, this is war and this is ignoring.

Peaceful neighbors are a great blessing, even if they are not friends, and I don’t really want to talk about the rest, but it is necessary.

It seems that it is very difficult to insure your apiary from attacks by neighbors, but in fact, it is easier to do than, say, in the case when your neighbors do not like the smell and noise from your barnyard, or from the poultry house.

Yes, if you have guinea fowl, for example, then your neighbors must be deaf, otherwise, either they will have to wear earplugs, or move... as an option, the best one, they can also get guinea fowl, or more noisy birds that react with a cry to any external irritant.

As for bees, the issue is solved by a blind fence higher than human height and a flying bee will always fly over the heads of those who are behind the fence, this is how their flight navigation is arranged, they fly to collect nectar along the shortest trajectory, and do not go around all the irregularities as a cruise missile does.

And, if you have issued a passport for an apiary and veterinary control at the village mayor's office, then no one can force you to get rid of the bees to please them, if you follow these two simple rules.

Although, there are still options to protect yourself, for example, to ensure that during the non-hiving period the bees had additional food and a source of water for drinking, and you can choose for work more loyal to people breeds of bees that are concerned with the work of honey harvesting, such as, for example, the Italian breed of bees.
