How tall tales are born.

Tall tales are fun to listen to and tell. They were mostly told around a campfire in the forest or by the lake, as fishermen and hunters, who were the best at this, told them to each other.

The beetle had an eye as big as a fist, or something akin to Baron Munchausen's tales, like, "I shot a deer with a cherry pit and a cherry tree grew on its forehead," something like that.

But, as life shows us, tall tales can also be born at an ordinary grocery market, for example, in a conversation between someone who has been shopping at the market for years and someone who has just started doing so and doesn't know what the prices were like a few years ago.

For the latter, what they see in the form of price tags is the norm, while the stories of seasoned veterans about how prices were several times lower just recently and what we see today is a bubble seem like nothing more than fairy tales.

In fact, I can consider it a fairy tale that just a few days ago I was using online photo editors without any problems, but for the second day in a row, I can't do anything because all browsers freeze when loading photos.

That's how fairy tales are born.
