Flawless engineering and flawless execution.

Flawless engineering and flawless execution.

Engineering and flawless execution can sometimes be at odds, especially when someone like me, who wants to build something, lacks the necessary skills in a particular field, such as electric welding.

I recently considered buying a welding machine, a semiautomatic one that can weld with flux-cored wire without CO2, with steel wire in a CO2 environment, and with electrodes.

It's convenient and expands the possibilities for a beginner.

Although I did a fair amount of welding with electrodes twenty years ago, a lot has happened since then, and I doubt I'll be able to maintain the proper weld parameters with an electrode right away. As for flux-cored wire, I think it'll be a bit easier to work with if I can avoid excessive spattering of molten metal and clogging of the nozzle. I also don't think the wire will stick like the electrode.

So, I decided to build a pipe bender for bending profile pipes for greenhouse construction.

I looked at many different options, settled on some, and decided to pass on others.

I understand that I won't be able to build even the simplest pipe bender perfectly, but there's still hope that it will be functional, otherwise, it's not worth trying.

Unfortunately, I must admit this, because I am not a great Author, a Creator, whose design and its embodiment have always been and are ideal; it is enough to look at the subtle structure of the physalis fruit to be convinced of this.

Some welders say a budget Chinese semiautomatic welding machine is sufficient, while others say you need an expensive unit. But with either a cheap welding machine or an expensive one, I won't be able to create anything close to God's perfect work on flowers.

Something tells me that some bending of the profile pipe is possible when bending it with a homemade pipe bender. After all, I'm not a dragonfly and I'm unlikely to be able to maintain all the parameters and dimensions perfectly, especially since, after precisely measuring the pipe bender's parts, it's possible the metal will warp during welding, which will introduce some error.

I'll have to live with that. LOL.

Material thoughts about beekeeping №1

When I visited dense forests, I did not see ideal conditions for bees there, but many beekeepers harvest beekeeping products in such places.
