Despite everything.

I can't even remember when exactly I began to notice something interesting and appealing in objects that, to put it mildly, had lost their former beauty, like wilted flowers. But it happened, and based on this, I'd like to learn to see more good in otherwise gloomy days, when the light brings joy and visual pleasure.

Such a day can be unpleasant to the touch, sticky like slush dripping from wood, but it wasn't until half a century later that I carefully appreciated the beauty of gum tree... despite everything :)
