New Tokens Are Killing the Future of Blue-Chip Coins

Investors still have one hope that the assets they invested in at their all time highs will perform well in the future and that another altcoin season may allow them to recover their losses and make good profits.

A large number of investors, especially longterm holders have invested in blue-chip cryptocurrencies. This raises an important question that will these blue-chip coins ever return to their all time highs? Do they still have real use cases? Are their projects still active and capable of surviving in the long run?

These are important questions that need answers.

One major issue I see in the crypto market today is the constant launch of new tokens. Every day, dozens of new projects appear, creating a gambling\ like environment.

Huge trading volumes quickly flow into these new coins but after one or two months, many of them experience sharp price crashes that causes heavy losses for investors.

Then the cycle repeats. Another new token appears, volume shifts into it, investors chase quick profits and many end up losing money again. This process continues without stopping.

Because of this trend many investors have started ignoring blue chip cryptocurrencies. If we look at trading volumes, many established coins are receiving very little attention compared to newly launched tokens.

The market has become focused on speculation rather than investment. People want quick gains through risky trades while fundamentally strong projects are being overlooked.

In such an environment if trading volume and investor interest do not return to blue-chip coins, it will be difficult for them to reach their previous all time highs. Project teams may be able to support prices through development and investment but true price growth requires strong market demand and investor participation.

In my opinion the continuous launch of new tokens is one of the biggest reasons why many blue chip cryptocurrencies struggle to move higher. This is the real reason why blue chips coins are struggling.

What do you think? Will blue chip cryptocurrencies ever return to their all time highs?? What is your opinion about the large number of new tokens being launched every day? Will be glad to see your answers in the comment section.
