There are some funny moments we all experienced when we were in school that each time they come to mind we still burst into laughter. Classrooms are filled with different boys and girls of different personalities. In all the classes that I have been there have always been some set of funny classmates that make the class fun, either with their actions or words. I'm pretty sure everyone can relate to this in their various classes and school as well.

When we were writing our final examinations in Secondary school, I remember an event that cracked everyone up in the examination hall even though it was supposed to be a time when we were all meant to be in a serious mood.

We were at the peak of this examination and everywhere was tensed as we try to finish up before the time elaspes when one of the invigilators caught a guy cheating. He was caught with a small piece of paper that consist of answers to some of the questions.

This is usually called "expo" in Nigeria. The invigilator asked the boy why he is cheating even though he is aware of the consequences of his actions. The boy denied the allegations with a very funny excuse that got everyone laughing. Not only was his response funny but also his choice of words made it more hilarious.

The boy in his defense said "The fan blew it" in a funny remorseful way as he tries to prove his innocence and avoid being punished. How on earth will a fan blow a paper filled with answers into your hands? He made this statement in such a way that the whole class of about thirty students all bursted into laughter. This in turn made the invigilator who also laughed but didn't really make it obvious temper justice with mercy. Instead of tearing the boy's answer booklets which means the end of the examination for him, he decided to stop him from writing for twenty minutes.

Students do not waste any time before they give each other nicknames and this boy (now a man) wasn't an exception. From that moment till date, the boy is been called by his nickname "The fan blew it".
