My unlucky but lucky day at the Jaro plaza

I'm meeting my TWIN sister today!! Why is this so special to me?? because we haven't seen each other for almost 6 years.. she is working in another country.. We decided to meet up at the famous cathedral in the city.. This is the famous and historical Jaro Cathedral Church..

Campanario de Jaro

While I was waiting for her, I took pictures of the Campanario de Jaro. The streets were so busy. people are walking around the church even though it was raining that time. The cars were honking together with the ringing church bells.
The structure as very tall so It was really hard to capture it in whole. The Campanario de Jaro is very old but it's beauty is still the same as it was built.

Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria

These two are the only photos I took from the outside. I want to take photos of the inside of the church, but I wasn't lucky.. there was a holy mass at that time.. so I decided to leave and go to the plaza. It is across the church.

Jaro Plaza

Around the plaza are the a lot of trees. some of them are tall and old. Witnesses of the changes made in the plaza and the church over time. but what I love the most are the short trees. They should have pretty purple flowers.. but I was not lucky again.. today is not the day for the flowers to bloom.. oh man!🤣

Statues and Monuments

There are a lot of statues and monuments. This one is common to everyone. The gazebo of the Blessed Mother Mary.

This one is my favorite. It captured the vintage night lamp, the statue and the Campanario de Jaro.

This is the newly built lighted water fountain. It's so refreshing to see something new on something old. I can see everyone enjoying the place. Even though it was raining, I think the people are still having fun.
I felt unlucky again.. there should be dancing ballerinas in the middle of the water fountain. I hope next time I come back here, they will put the ballerinas back. It would look like little girls dancing under the splash of water.

after roaming around the plaza under the rainy weather.. i felt so wet and hungry so i decided to go out side of the plaza and i got lucky this time that there are a lot of vendors...they sell different kinds of food..

as i was eating my food i hear someone calling my name..so i look around for a while and when i saw no one familiar to me i continued eating because i'm so hungry already.. but suddenly someone grab my food and i said to my self, "am i this unlucky?? but no not this time,, not my food".. i was about to punch the unlucky person who took my food but i saw a familiar face and it was my twin sister..by the way we dont look the same because we are fraternal twins.. i'm a male and she's a female..

ohhh!! another unlucky thing happen because of the exciting to see each other a long time i did not take a picture of us together and my camera ran out of battery..
