It's Wednesday, and I want to make it a habit to go for a walk again. It was almost canceled because it was drizzling when I woke up, but the rain let up and eventually stopped. There was this place we often pass by when we're riding the public transport from the city center to our place, and I've always wanted to take photos of the place.
This place is a little over 2 kilometers away from our place, but it's going to be worth it. We headed out at around 6:30 AM, it's later than the usual time we start our walks.

Our house is around a 2-3 minute walk away from the road, and even from that point, I already took a bunch of photos because the sunrise was just so pretty this morning. The sky color was lovely, and it felt incredible being under it.

There's a rainbow always after the rain~ (insert Rainbow by South Border -- one of my fave songs from them...)
Here's another spectacular view in the sky! It's a beautiful rainbow. Rainbows always make me feel hopeful. It's like a message that life is colorful, and that despite the trials, beautiful things always follow. :)

This area has a small pond, or I think a lake somewhere. It's listed on Google Maps, but I haven't really been to that place. However, I think it's around this area since I can see a body of water from afar. I took more photos on our way home, so please continue scrolling down. :)

There's this dirt road that leads to somewhere I have no idea of. Perhaps more houses, or just the mountain? Not sure if we could explore it, but we might do so one of these days. ^^

Then, we passed by the area where you can see a row of huge transmission towers. It extends through the mountains! It's kind of cool to look at, but I don't think I'd want to live near one of these. It's an interesting photography subject, though. hahaha

This area is the longest stretch of going uphill. It's a good place for a walk or jog because there are uphills and downhills, so you get to really exert effort, but the view is amazing!

Yep... this is the view I was talking about... well, one of them. There's another spot, maybe around 200m away from this spot. :) But isn't it beautiful? The vast sky, and the mountain ranges from afar!

And yep... this is the area that always catches my attention every time we pass by. The view is stunning... we didn't go down and just stayed on the road, though. We walked for about 5 minutes more to get some stuff for our place since that small store is the only place we could purchase what we needed before walking back home.

On our way home, there's this elevated area, and it actually leads to an activity center. I haven't been there, but there are some swimming pools and other event spaces.

We passed by some beautiful landscapes again... and here's the welcome sign entering our barangay, but it was covered by coconut leaves. hahaha
And as I've mentioned earlier, we passed by that small body of water again, and since it's much brighter, I could take better photos. However, they're zoomed in since it's still quite a distance from the road.

Based on the map, the lake is still farther from the road, so I wonder if this is a part of it, or not. I want to explore it, but the area is fenced. I think there's a different way to get to see the opposite side.

I'll end this post with this photo of some birds chilling on the electric lines. hahaha It was quite a walk, but it felt refreshing. Next time, we're definitely going to walk all the way to the national road, so I can take photos of the beach.
There's this public beachside park that looks pretty, so I want to chill and take photos there when I get the chance. Perhaps on of these days. :)
That's it for now. See you around! (^^,)/
