The Beautiful Street in Lekki Phase One

It is another day, a very good one in deed to be alive and healthy. This is my entry to this week's #wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay. This week walk is within the axis of Lekki Phase 1. This is on the Island part of Lagos state, the financial economics state of the country. One thing that I love about this part of the state is its calmness and the tree planting process of the area. It is very rare to see a street without a tree in Lekki Phase one. In fact there is no such street. This make the area calm and very sane for living. And the trees being planted are also medicinal trees for anyone's use.

Basically the whole of Lagos is divided into three parts, and this division is not contestable. We have the Island, which comprises of the wealthy people of the state. I can state this unapologetically that most people that reside in this part of Lagos State are millionaires. Then we have the mainland, which in itself divided into two. The part very much closer to the Island have much more wealthy people than those who live far away. Exception include Maryland, Some part of Ikeja, Magodo, Omole Phase one and two.

Another thing that I love about this place is that, all streets are interlocked. It is very rare to see a street that there is no interlock. This makes the entire city beautiful. Some streets have their house number on their waste bin. This is very good for easy identification of the house numbers. Despite that I love this area, their disadvantage is that there is no clean water anywhere on the Island. In other to get very clean water on the Island, one has to spend a lot of money.
