I Am #AliveAndThriving Today! || #IAmAliveChallenge || Daily Off-Grid Jungle Journal Entry: Day #981 - The Alive Tribe 5th Anniversary Nears, and an Investment Decision - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Friday, April 4, 2025

I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 5 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

In just 16 days, on April 21, the We Are Alive Tribe will be celebrating its 5th Anniversary on the Blockchain. I got involved with the Alive Tribe as a comment moderator for the @aliveandthriving daily curation posts on November 30, 2022, a task that I diligently continue to perform to this day. Now, of course, I also have a few more responsibilities in the community, that I carry our with the same care, commitment, and dedication. We'll very likely be publishing an official 5th-anniversary post on the 21st, where we'll bring the community up to date on the various aspects of the Alive Tribe that we've restored, and new things that we've implemented, since taking the reins near the end of December. I know that Rosyel (@iamraincrystal) is thinking of doing something special for the Tribe's birthday, so there might indeed be a lovely surprise in store.

I'm excited, as I know everyone else in the core leadership is, about the Alive Tribe's future, because we're all aligned and on the same page, with our greatest desire and intention being to make our community ever better and more amazing. I know that 2025 will be a very significant year for the We Are Alive Tribe, and I can't wait to help make it happen!

As I've been mentioning in previous posts, I've been mulling over and considering a particular investment strategy, withdrawing my good chunk of HBD from Savings, to add it to my presently-small pool of HIVE and HBD, for a six-month run of AI-bot trading (via Hive.Trading). Doing this, I'm almost certain that I'll be able to grow both HIVE and HBD faster than their usual ~3-13% and 15% staking APRs. It is a bit of a gamble, that's true, but the odds are in my favor it would seem.

It won't be something that I implement immediately, since I still have to wait for the present AI-bot profile being tested to expire shortly, and then activate the last profile for one more month of testing. I also need to wait until just after claiming my HBD Savings interest, so that I don't lose any by trying to withdraw it mid-month. So most likely in just over a month to a month and a half, I'll be going ahead with my experimental investment plan.

By the time I'm ready to start the 6-month bot run, I'll likely have somewhere over 460 HBD to add to the trading pool. Combined with the ~$2.50 of HIVE and HBD that I have in the pool at the moment (and that hopefully will keep growing in the meantime), I should have a very solid base for this new investment (ad)venture. If I'm successful, then I probably won't be depositing HBD into Savings again, unless of course the APR rises higher than that for my bot-trading, which is presently unlikely. I'm also very strongly considering implementing this investment strategy in the Alive Tribe soon as well, is it would hopefully create an ever-growing pool of liquid HIVE and HBD, that can then be used to grow and expand the community's financial base even further, and to have these assets available for various sorts of community rewards and dividends, to share the wealth that we're growing. Yep, this is going to be fun!

Yesterday, Friday, after finishing up my Hive tasks, I prepared for a session at 1:30PM, which went well, and once it was completed, I stopped by the Landing to collect my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the Landing fridge, and then I returned straight away to the Flow House, to jump into my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I got everything done rather late, just before 11:45PM, and after some asset management, I went to bed around 12AM. I woke up just before 7AM, having slept fairly well, doing more asset management, starting on this post, then getting out of bed to go make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, before returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just after 1:30PM, so a great time to end this post, so that I may get to my other few important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to first focus on photography for these posts and for my entry in the Reflection Hunters Contest, and then community/land work. 2025 Life Goals

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.

2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.

3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.

4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
