I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 7 years now. Many of you have likely noticed that HIVE's fiat-dollar price is currently falling to around 4 cents, which is equally as unsurprising as it is sad. Each week there are many magnitudes more HIVE powered down than powered up, seemingly to be sent to exchanges to sell. This does not bode well at all. How on earth do we maintain and grow value, and build, in an ecosystem and financial framework that continues to decline? That is indeed the question.

An idea came to me this morning, as I pondered this situation, and one that made immediate sense. What is the most valuable crypto asset, not only in the world, but on Hive too? BTC/Bitcoin, of course, which exists on Hive, or on Hive Engine to be more specific, as SWAP.BTC, that is pegged to the price of BTC. While BTC's always been quite volatile, it also always trends upward. In every Bitcoin cycle, both the lowest lows and the highest highs are higher than the previous cycle. That's very notable and significant.

Since it's so easy to swap almost any asset for almost any other, across both layer 1 and layer 2, and given that HIVE's fiat value continues to fall, and with it the whole Hive ecosystem, the most logical strategy to hold and grow assets is to swap declining assets, like HIVE, and probably soon HBD too if HBD loses its peg to the dollar, as well as layer-2 assets, would be to swap them for SWAP.BTC, hold them for a while, then swap back from SWAP.BTC to the original asset. Since there will in all likelihood be notable profit from this operation, a slightly larger amount can then be swapped for SWAP.BTC, to again sit for a while, and then to repeat the process.

Me being me, I was very curious how much SWAP.BTC that I would receive for my 13,787 HIVE, so I checked in both the Hive Keychain extension and on Hive Swap (Hive Keychain won again). I was quite surprised to see that I would get 0.01 SWAP.BTC, which is quite a large amount. I'm not going to swap my big chunk of HIVE for SWAP.BTC, of course, because I've already made the decision to power it up, so that I can delegate most of it to @dab-vote, and from the increased DBOND income, and the subsequent DAB income, to start loaning a portion that DAB income to @aliveandthriving, so that I can grow our weekly HIVE income. If that chunk of HIVE were not already allocated, then I'd very likely go through with swapping it for SWAP.BTC for a bit.

Just because I can't use this strategy on my big chunk of HIVE, it doesn't mean that I can't begin practicing this strategy, as I continue in my asset-leveraging ways. Given its logical utility, it definitely behooves me to make use of it moving forward, which I certainly will.

Yesterday, Sunday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my numerous Sunday Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, by a little after 2:30PM, giving my attention first to some photography for my posts. With a nice batch of shots taken, I made a quick food-supply run to Tutu's to restock Wabisabi, after which I replaced two ethernet heads on a short ethernet cable, to get a network switch set up in Elohi's place. Once I had that done, I made myself some food in Wabisabi, collected my leftover superfood fire coffee from the fridge, and I headed back to the Flow House to begin my evening Hive tasks. I got through all of my notifications by just after 10PM, and after scanning my X feed for a while, I went to bed by just after 11PM. I woke up by around 7:30PM, having slept well, going to prepare my superfood fire coffee in Wabisabi, then returning to the Flow House to prepare my Weekly-Hive-Goals-and-Progress Update to write later, and to begin on this post. It's now just after 12:30PM, so it's an excellent time to wrap this up, so that I may attend to my few other important Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on some photography for my posts, and then on some jungle-community/land work and tasks. 2026 Life Goals

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.

2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.

3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.

4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
