I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 7 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
In my post yesterday I laid out the very problematic financial situation that presently exists for the We Are Alive Tribe, and how even after a good deal of time exploring and looking into other sources of income available given our current resources, that there really isn't anything that is comparable to what the HIVE-for-BEE delegation service provided. My mistake was allocating far too much HIVE to be distributed weekly, especially considering that the vast majority of it came from only one source. I did this because I wanted to share as much as possible with the community, but with it mostly only coming from one source, when that service was brought to an end, we were left in a very difficult financial situation.

My biggest lesson in all of this, and it was one that I already knew, but boy of boy was it hit home hard, was to never, ever depend on only one source of income for essential community functioning, especially in layer 2. I should have allocated much less HIVE to be distributed each week, as it would have made our present predicament much easier to address.

Nobody, including me, is going to like the solution to our current community economic dilemma, which is to pause all distribution of HIVE for an indeterminate amount of time, until I am able to rebuild our HIVE income from multiple sources. I'm thinking that this needs to be done sooner rather than later, and that I need to write an official post about our current unsustainable financial situation quite soon, so that everyone is aware of where we stand, and the course of action moving forward. The market price of our ALIVE token will very likely tank for a while, very unfortunately, but that seems quite unavoidable at this point.

The @bee.voter HIVE-for-BEE delegation service was exceptional, and our community received a great deal of benefit from it, both in the notably-augmented Hive Power accross various community accounts, and all the HIVE that our community members received over quite a good amount of time. I'm grateful for that, and I also apologize to all of you for having to take some rather drastic measures now to bring the We Are Alive Tribe economy back into a sustainable balance.

While I'm still considering various possible options, the most likely course of action at the moment will be for me to withdraw my 650+ HBD from Savings, swap it for HIVE, power it up on my own account, delegate a large portion of it to @dab-vote, and to loan the liquid DAB as it accumulates over time to the community. Our holding of DBOND, which produces more liquid DAB, will also continue to grow, as will our holding of HSBIDAO. In terms of HIVE-for-HP delegation services, @ecency still seems to be at the top, so I'll slowly increase our delegation(s) as our Hive Power continues to grow. All of this will, unfortunately, take time, but our economic and financial base will gradually become much stronger and more resilient as we progress. This course of action is not ideal by a long shot, and I know that it will not be popular at all, but I'm determined for the We Are Alive Tribe to continue, and for that to happen some hard choices need to be made, which I'm making now. To those that stick with us through this, I thank you for your patience and understanding. Yes, this sucks, but I promise to do my best to rectify it as quickly as I'm able.

Yesterday, Thursday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, quite late, just before 3PM, mostly due to rain. Since working outside under such wet conditions was not particularly motivating, I focused on cleaning in and around Wabisabi, which was in need of a little care. Once I had that done, I made a quick food-supply run to Tutu's to restock Wabisabi, and I chopped and dumped bad/used coconuts at the upper coco bar. After those and one or two other small tasks were completed, I made myself some food in Wabisabi, collected my leftover superfood fire coffee from the fridge, and with those in hands I headed back to the Flow House, to begin my evening Hive tasks. It got through all of my notifications by just before 9PM, and after spending a good bit of time pondering on possible solutions to our community economic situation, and scanning my X feed for a bit, I went to bed by just after 11:15PM. I woke up quite late, around 8:45AM, having thankfully slept very well, going to prepare my superfood fire coffee in Wabisabi, then returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just before 12PM, so it's a very good time to wrap this up, so that I may attend to my few other important Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on some photography for my posts, and then on some jungle-community/land work and tasks. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's incarnation of these posts! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.

All photos were taken with my Motorola G Play 2024 Android Phone.

Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

There will be more ALIVE pools coming soon!

This is our collaboratively shared Witness node between the We Are Alive Tribe, and @borniet's and my MMB (Maximum Mutual Benefit) Project, here to build something good for all of us! The higher in the witness ranking we go, the more that we'll be able to grow the We Are Alive Tribe, and the more that we'll be able to share with all of you!

If you appreciate what we're doing with the We Are Alive Tribe, and feel inspired and motivated to lend a hand in building and growing our decentralized community economy and financial framework, which benefits all of us, community conntributions/donations/investments may be sent to our 'We Are Alive Tribe Sovereign Wealth Investment Fund' account, @waat-swif. They're deeply appreciated, and are put to very good use.

Bjorn is our badass coder who hosts and manages our (and also Bradley's) community backends, he creates all sorts of useful tools, and he assists people all over the Blockchain constantly. He redefines the term 'busy'!

Bradley's tenaciously committed and all-in on Hive for the long haul (just like me!), and the higher his witness goes in the ranking, the higher the weekly BBH and BBHO dividend payouts will be!
