I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 7 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

Well, I've got to say that my brain feels fried again as I begin to write this, and quite late mind you, after another round of research, experimentation, and testing, as I work to get certain previously automatic functions that I had in Arch Linux with systemd, working as they had before, or working in different ways, with the dinit init system in Artix Linux. While I don't have a lot of time at the moment to dive as deeply, or for as long as I'd like into this techie-tinkering proclivity and passion, I have been fitting it in, in short bursts, here and there.

This morning, I tried to implement something new, that I had never attempted before, and that led me down a few more rabbit holes of learning to understand the detailed specifics of different important components of a Linux system, which in part, along with lots of troubleshooting and testing, and trying to figure out why things still aren't working as intended, is what has brought me to my current brain-fried state. Yep, it sure is annoying and frustrating when things don't work as I'd like, but this is exactly what fuels my determination to dive deeper, to learn more, and to finally master yet another part of the Linux system.

There are so many different and diverse ways to accomplish pretty much any desired goal or task in Linux, and to take full advantage of that incredible flexibility, it is necessary to understand how Linux, and my specific iterations of it, Arch and Artix Linux, do what they does, as fully and deeply as possible. That's what I've been doing for the past 14.5+ years, and I'm still going deeper in punctuated leaps, as various needs arise.

I'm coming to the stage now where my understanding of how my Linux systems work, and what I can do with them, is reaching a level to where I can begin to build my own automated systems and workflows into my three Arch/Artix Linux installations, that would function regardless of the distribution-specific details, which is very helpful if I ever plan to convert/migrate to another distribution in the future. Keeping my setups simple, understandable, effective, efficient, and easily manageable, would be my primary goal here.

Linux is a FOSS (Free and Open-Source Software) operating-system and software framework that could indeed be likened to eminently malleable clay, that can, with the proper knowledge and understanding, be molded and sculpted, into exactly what we want. I don't know about you, but that's pretty bloody fascinating and exciting to me!

Yesterday, Friday, after finishing up my Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks by a little after 12PM, I prepared for a session that was scheduled for 1:30PM. The session started a bit on the late side, it went very well, and we wrapped it up by about 5:30PM, after which I went to Wabisabi to make myself some food, and with that and my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee in hands, I headed back to the Flow House to begin my evening Hive tasks. I got everything done by a bit after 10:30PM, and after some asset management, and more techie research and testing, I went to bed, waaayyy too late, by around 1:30AM. I woke up just before 7AM, definitely still feeling that I needed more sleep, doing more research and testing, going to prepare my superfood fire coffee in Wabisabi, then returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just before 1:45PM, so it's a marvelous time to wrap this up, so that I may attend to my few other important Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on some photography for my posts, and then on jungle-community/land work and tasks. 2026 Life Goals

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.

2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.

3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.

4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
