I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 7 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

I need to skip this today, as I'm way behind, and Vivaldi, that has all my necessary browser tabs, is presently inaccessible.

Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

Since my post yesterday, I have some great and some not-so-great news to share. Yesterday evening, after a bit more research and clarification on certain important points, I made my second attempt at converting/migrating the first of my three Arch Linux installations to Artix Linux, and while there were a few complications, I was finally successful in the end. I got most of the main work done last night, before I started my evening Hive tasks (late again), but I left rebooting until this morning, because I didn't have the time to troubleshoot the likely booting errors by that point in the evening. This morning, between my own intuition, and having Grok assist me with troubleshooting errors, I was able to get my new Artix system able to boot to the graphical desktop once again, super thankfully.

That was the main step, after which it's just getting some important, though lower-priority issues ironed out. One particular issue wasn't so easy to rssolve, however, my user profile in Vivaldi (my preferred browser) seemingly became corrupted, which made me finally just uninstall and reinstall Vivaldi, and start anew. Since I use Vivaldi on my laptop to accomplish much of what I do on Hive and Blurt every day, this is quite problematic, as it means that I have to set up many things from scratch again, which takes quite a bit of time, of which I don't have a lot.

Although I did my best, I wasn't able to get Vivaldi up and running as I needed it again in time this afternoon, so I just uploaded my photos and started writing this post (I even had to skip adding my asset prices at the top of this post). I have to devote some time in the early evening to getting Vivaldi, including all my needed tabs, and extensions like Hive Keychain and WhaleVault, set up again before I start on my evening Hive tasks. There are also a couple important services that I need to get working again ASAP.

So I had some notable successes, and one frustrating failure since my last post, but at least I am happy to say that I now have one functional Artix Linux installation. Now I need to set some time to convert the other two. This particular Arch installation with which I started my conversion process, actually started out as Antergos Linux, that I installed 8 Year, 6 months, and 21 days ago, and which I very soon afterward converted to straight Arch Linux, so it's been an Arch Linux installation for most of the time that I've used it. And now I've just successfully turned it into Artix Linux.

My mind is still a bit fried after several hours of work to accomplish this Arch-to-Artix conversion, and I do feel mostly triumphant, but also really annoyed and frustrated that I have to set up Vivaldi again, almost from scratch. I'm really hoping that I'm able to get everything on it set up and working the way that I want again as quickly, easefully, and efficiently as I'm able, because it's an essential component of my daily Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' work flow. Fingers crossed for this evening.

Yesterday, Wednesday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, by a little after 2:30PM, giving my attention to a few jungle-community tasks, including going on a banana hunt around the property in search of harvestable bananas (I found 2 small, and 1 large rack). I was so busy with various tasks, and the weather was so uninspiring, that I completely forgot to take photos for my posts, which means that I presently have none ready to go for tomorrow's post, so I have quite a lot of photos to take later today. After a food-supply run to Tutu's to restock Wabisabi, and turning on the generator, I finally made myself some food (spiced-and-seasoned ground beef, eggs, onions, longevity spinach leaves, olive oil, and sea salt), and with that and my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee in hands, I headed back to the Flow House to begin the second attempt at my Arch-to-Artix conversion, and after most significant work on that was completed, I started on my evening Hive tasks, quite late once again, by around 8:30PM. I wasn't able to get through all my notifications again, before I had to stop to do some quick asset management, and then crash into bed. I woke up just before 6AM, having slept well, doing more work on troubleshooting Arch-to-Artix conversion issues, going to make my superfood fire coffee in Wabisabi, then returning to the Flow House for more troubleshooting, and finally to begin writing this post. It's now just after 1:30PM, so it's a marvelous time to wrap this up, so that I may attend to my few other important Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on some ample photography for my posts, and then on jungle-community/land work and tasks. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's expression of these posts! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

2026 Life Goals

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.

2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.

3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.

4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
