I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 7 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

Well, the fiat-dollar price of HIVE didn't dip into the $0.08 range during the entire time that I was waiting to swap my 607+ HBD for HIVE, so I finally restaked all my HBD back into Savings last night. It's annoying to have missed 13 days of HBD interest, but that's the way it flowed, and I just roll with it. Since I redeposited all my HBD into Savings, my HPUD powerup this morning was a bit more modest than I had hoped, 746.363 HIVE compared to 7,000+ HIVE, which is still a very nice boost, and one that took me past 16,000 Hive Power, so quite a nice way to begin this new year.

There is one rather unfortunate part of this powerup that I just realized, after the fact, however. Ben (@benthomaswwd / @benthomasuk) sent me 200 HIVE this morning, for me to invest in the community, which is excellent, but I didn't notice that he had sent it to me until after I had already powered up all my HIVE for today's HPUD. As I often am, I was juggling a lot this morning, so I completely missed the fact that I had an extra 200 HIVE before I did my powerup. I even put 546.363 HIVE in my HPUD post, which I just edited to reflect the reality. Doh! I feel really stupid, and I'm not quite sure how to fix this just yet.

Regardless of that notable blunder, that I'll do my best to rectify, starting the year with 16,000+ Hive Power will give me a solid base upon which to fuel even greater growth in 2026, both for me, and for the We Are Alive Tribe. I've still been consistently growing my account, and our community account, on Blurt, even though our community there is pretty quiet at the moment. My own account is now past 32,000 Blurt Power, with our community account almost at 6,000 Blurt Power. I'm trying to grow our community account's BP as much as I'm able, to make publishing posts in our Blurt community worth people's while. Just as I'm doing on Hive, I set our community account as a 5% beneficiary on all my posts there, and I log in on that account every day to claim BP rewards, and to upvote posts, to keep its BP growing, while I support people there as much as I can in the process.

One notable thing that I need to do on my own account is to choose a new set of Hive and Life Goals for 2026. Although I smashed all 3 of my 2025 Hive Goals, most of my 2025 Life Goals, that I have at the bottom of these posts, were sadly abject failures, with only one, '3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.', having been at least partly accomplished. With all that said, I'm really not clear at the moment on which new 2026 Hive and Life Goals that I should choose.

I'll let it percolate today, and I'll see what bubbles up. Hopefully I'll have new 2026 Goals to share by tomorrow's post. I also just had the thought that choosing 2026 Goals for the We Are Alive Tribe might also be useful as well. Hrmmm...

Yesterday, Wednesday, after finishing up my Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks by a little before 12PM, I prepared for a session that was scheduled for 1:30PM. This session, which started a bit late, was one of those rare sessions where I received, rather the gave. We wrapped it up by around 5:30PM, after which I went to collect my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the Landing fridge, and then I returned to the Flow House to begin my evening Hive tasks. I got everything done by about 10:15PM, and after some asset management, I went to bed by around 11:30PM. I woke up just after 5AM, having slept reasonably well, going to turn on the generator (since our solar-electrical system has crashed during the early morning), heading back to the Flow House to get my Qortal node back online, doing more asset management, going to make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, then returning to the Flow House to power up my HIVE, to write and publish my post about it, January HPUD - Hive Power Up Day - 746.383 HIVE Powered Up!, before beginning on this post. It's now just after 12PM, so it's an excellent time to wrap this up, so that I may get to my few other important Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on some photography for my posts, on straining and blending coconut kefir, and then on community/land work. 2025 Life Goals

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.

2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.

3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.

4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
