I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 7 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

Although it's still the morning of December 31st for me here in Hawai'i, I know for many of you it's already January 1st, so happy New Year and happy January HPUD! Of course it's only New Year in the inaccurate Julian-Gregorian 12-month calendar, with the real New Year at the beginning of March, but that's beside the point, and also a whole big can of worms in itself, so it's best left for another time (there are actually supposed to be 13 months, with 28 days each, plus one 'null'/'zero'/'renewal' day out of time, not included in any week or month, with every week beginning on a Sunday, and ending on a Saturday).

Given that in the 'official' view of time today is the last day of the year, it's the day that I make the decision about whether to swap my 607+ liquid HBD for HIVE to power up, or if the price doesn't move into the $0.08 range, to stake it back into Savings for at least another month. While the fiat-dollar price of HIVE has been falling a bit since last night, it's still hasn't dropped into my swap range yet. I have a session today, so I'll assess the situation, either swap or deposit my HBD, and powerup my HIVE for HPUD (and write and publish my HPUD post), later this evening.

So I'll either be powering up 545+ HIVE, or if my HBD swap is successful, 7,000+ HIVE. We shall indeed see how it goes, though I'm not attached to the outcome any longer, as both choices, swapping and powering up, or restaking into Savings, would have notable benefits. If I'm going to use all or most of the HBD that I've acquired up to this point, I want the resulting powerup to be truly massive, not just large.

While I would very much love to do a mega-powerup of 7,000+ HIVE for this upcoming Janaury HPUD, and I could very much use the augmented amount of Hive Power for delegations, especially HP-lease delegations, there's also still a part of me that wants to put my nice chunk of HBD back in Savings. With that said, the fiat price of HIVE later this evening will determine my course of action.

Some of you might have noticed that the HIVE payouts in our ALIVE dividends ran into a snag yesterday, with only some accounts receiving payouts. I actually noticed it the day before, when my own account did not receive a payout, which I brought to Bjorn's attention. He enabled full logging to find the issue on the next run, this one that partly failed, and thankfully he was able to find and fix the issue, so the HIVE payouts in the ALIVE dividends should be good to go again for today with the boosted amount of HIVE. May your HPUD today, and your new year, be glorious, my friends! The We Are Alive Tribe is ending and beginning the year on a good foot, and I'm revving up to make 2026 even more excellent for all of us!

Yesterday, Tuesday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, by a little after 2:15PM, giving my attention first to some photography for my posts. With that completed to my satisfaction, I got my machete and I went banana hunting around the property with Avi (we found one ripe rack). Once we finished that, I took a quick asset-management break up at the Flow House, after which I devoted my time to planting a good portion of the longevity spinach (Gynura procumbens), that I had cleared off the tarp covering a small storage area next to the Landing the week before last, at various spots around the property. After getting as much of that done as I could, I took a (thankfully hot) shower, made myself some food (egg torts, with pepperjack cheese, and Dijon mustard), and with that and my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee in hands, I headed back to the Flow House to begin my evening Hive tasks. I got everything done by just a after 9:15PM, and after some asset management, I went to bed just after 10PM, nice and early. I woke up about 5:30AM, having slept well, doing more asset management, going to make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, then returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just after 11:15AM, so it's a magnificent time to wrap this up, so that I may get to my few other important Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, before preparing for a session that's scheduled for 1:30PM. 2025 Life Goals

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.

2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.

3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.

4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
