I Am #AliveAndThriving Today! || #IAmAliveChallenge || Daily Off-Grid Jungle Journal Entry: Day #1220 - HPUD Today, Hive Debt Rising Again, and Our Witness Inched ⬆️ in the Ranking - Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Saturday, November 29, 2025

I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 7 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

Happy early December HPUD! While I'd usually power up the HIVE that I've accumulated over the month tomorrow morning, given that tomorrow is Monday, which means that I have my 'Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update' post, and the next version of this post to write, today is my powerup day instead. I'll let a bit more HIVE accumulate, and then I'll power it all up at some point in the early evening, along with writing and publishing my HPUD post about it, of course.

Added to the 14,813.5 HP that I have now, and the approximately 10 HP that I'll receive from the post payout for the week-old iteration of these posts, my powerup today of around 61 HIVE will take me into the range of 14,885 Hive Power, so quite a nice way to start the week. With how quickly my HP is growing now, I may indeed reach 15,000 Hive Power before the end of this coming week. I'll also be withdrawing another 2 HBD from the Pepe Game tomorrow morning, which will take me past 590 HBD in Savings. With my next interest claim of 7+ HBD in the middle of December, I'll be sitting right on the edge of 600 HBD in Savings, so I'll do everything that I can to give it that extra nudge.

On the topic of HBD and its relationship to HIVE, I noticed this morning, much to my chagrin, that the Hive Debt, which had been falling for 3 days straight, had begun to rise once again. Last night just before I went to bed, it was sitting at 16.85%, and by the time that I checked it in the morning, it had risen to 16.89%. That's a bit or a bugger, and it's certainly not a good thing.

I'll continue to keep a close eye on the the Hive Debt ratio, and if it does keep rising, then I will very likely withdraw my HBD from Savings just after the next interest claim in 18 days, convert it to HIVE, and then save it for my January HPUD powerup, which may be my biggest one yet. Having a high APR on an asset for which there must be a proportional counterbalance with HIVE (actual and virtual HIVE), can definitely run into problems, as we're now seeing. Yes, how the DHF is managed is a big part of the problem, but it's certainly not all of it.

Although it wasn't a huge jump, our new Hive witness, @aliveandmmb, got a few more votes, and rose from the #134 place, up to the #131 place, in the witness ranking (for active witnesses), which is excellent news indeed. We've still got a looonnnggg way to go to break into the top 20, but we've been making small steps upward since going live, so I know that we can make it happen in time. I'd say that the last year has been quite successful for the We Are Alive Tribe, and as I always say, we're just getting started, and the best is yet to come, my friends!

Yesterday, Saturday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, very late indeed, just after 3:30PM, as I needed to swap SSDs (and Arch Linux installations) on my laptop, and clone the removed SSD, to then store away. Once I finally left, I focused on some photography for my posts first, and after capturing a nice batch of shots, I chopped and dumped bad/used coconuts at the upper coco bar, and I tidied up the area a bit. With that completed, I got my machete, and I did some clearing along the second driveway, near the Flow House, for a while. Ano came to help with a reciprocating saw toward the end, to make clearing even more effective. After finshing with that, I took a shower, I made myself some food (spiced-and-seasoned mini beef patties, pepperjack cheese, and horseradish mustard) in the Landing, and with that and my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee in hand(s), I headed back to the Flow House, to begin my evening Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks. I got everything done by just before 9PM, and after some asset management, I went to bed, super early, just before 9:30PM. I woke up around 6AM, having slept well, doing more asset management, going to make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, then returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just after 12:15PM, so it's a superb time to wrap this up, so that I may get to my few other important Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, and my weekly 'We Are Alive Tribe' asset management, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to give my attention first to some photography for my posts, and then on community/land work. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! 2025 Life Goals

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.

2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.

3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.

4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
