A lot of things can make one famous these days, some are famous for something impact full, some are famous for something not impact full. A person can make a video or even write something about giving advice and before you know it, a lot of people want to listen to that person, he wants to hear the next advice or read the next story. But does this mean that the person is an expert on that thing? My personal answer to that is simply: no.

You can attract thousands or millions of people online and you won't need an education or training for that, some people are just born that way. One thing we should know is that when someone is famous online for a particular thing that doesn't make the person an expert in that field.
Let's take for example, someone is famous online for giving medical advice and he receives thousands and millions of likes that doesn't qualify him or her to be a doctor or a nurse, don't get me wrong, we have real doctors and nurses on social media but how do you know who is actually one.
Because that person is famous for giving health advice people will think that the person knows everything about health issues and when you check the comment sections you'll see where some people will begin to ask questions about their health. But if I have a medical problem, I would not trust that person more than a trained medical doctor in my neighborhood simply because the person online has more followers.
A doctor or nurse has spent years going to school to study the human body. They have done training and a lot of practical work to get to where they are. When I visit a doctor, the doctor can examine me and ask me questions depending on the symptoms I tell him I have but someone online can not do such just by reading comment.
I have seen how easily people can believe things online. Someone makes a video saying, “This is the best medicine for this problem,” and before you know it, thousands of people are sharing it. Some people will even stop taking the medicine prescribed by their doctor because an influencer said something different. Honestly, this can be dangerous.
I am not talking bad about influencers or saying they are useless. Some influencers are knowledgeable and they share helpful information. Some influencers can encourage people to exercise, eat better, take care of their mental health, or learn about important issues. I appreciate people who use their platforms to educate others. But there is a big difference between sharing general information and personally diagnosing or treating people.

For me, qualifications and experience still matter. If I have a serious health problem, I would rather speak to a qualified doctor. If I need legal advice, I would speak to a lawyer. If I need help with a serious financial decision, I would look for a qualified financial professional.
We should learn to enjoy content online without blindly believing everything we see. Before accepting advice, we should ask ourselves, “Is this person actually qualified to tell me this?”
A large number of followers can make someone famous but that does not make them professionals, some people only make videos because it's what they enjoy and they will be paid by those social media platforms. I would rather trust someone with the right training and experience than trust someone who is popular online. Personally, someone is famous is not a proof of knowledge, and millions of followers are not professional qualifications.
Exactly. Being famous doesn’t automatically mean someone is qualified. Experience and actual knowledge matter too.
Yes, it does.
It matters a lot
