Nigeria have one of the best and structured educational system, a system that recognizes the stages of learning for early stage and also creates room for numerous interest and career choices due the lessons that are thought to kids in different stages.
Our education in Nigeria is structured into three , we have the primary, secondary and tertiary levels.
Education for a Nigerian child starts at the nursery/primary stage, which is usually for 6years
Then they move to the secondary level, the secondary level is divided into two, the junior secondary and the senior secondary level, which is usually for 6years, 3years in junior and 3year in senior.
Finally, we have the tertiary stage, which is university or college, this is ran for 4years, well it depends on your course of study, most courses medicine and law takes up to 6years.
A well educated Nigerian spent minimuim of 16years in school from the nursery level to the university level.
During these years in school, student go through difficult stages, in studying and preparing for promotional examination and these examinations are national, there aren't limited to schools or states.
After the primary level, you have to write an exam called the common entrance, then after the junior secondary, you have to write another examination called Junior WAEC and lastly before you qualified to apply for university is the WAEC AND JAMB.
The educational system in Nigeria is very logical and requires a lot of financial aids, especially when you attend private institutions.
The Nigeria system of education is designed to make you study and work hard at every level, from the nursery to university level.
Also from the beginning stage of learning, it gives children an exposure to numerous courses and technical skills through vocational and pre-vocational studies.
The educational system in Nigeria also exposes children and youths to diverse careers paths and choices, not just through the courses or subjects, but also through hosting some events for kids like career day, where they dress and take roles according to their passion. Within they years in schools the kids are also have activities that guide their career choices.
They also hold practical periodically.
Every citizen of Nigeria is allowed and permitted to pursue their education to the farthest they can go, the government made it easy for the less privilege to pursue their education to the secondary level, by building free schools and free books , if you can chase your education in a private school, then there are government schools with well trained teachers.
Where it get different, especially financially is chasing the university level, even in a government owned university, the price is still high.
Financial constain is the only reason a Nigerian, won't further he/her education, we are all allowed to school regardless of our religion, states or whatever differences.
In my country, education isn't limited to a particular gender, the male and the female has equal right to education.
Lastly, same number of females and males go to school in Nigeria, but throughout my study from primary to university, I always believed the females populates the school more than the boys.
The ratio of young boys to young girls according to my observations , respectively should be ; 90: 100.
That's girls attend schools, more than boys.
Thanks for reading ♥️

Well maybe it's just me but I don't think I can agree with you opinion about Nigeria having one of the best educational systems for a lot of reasons
Till this day I still find jamb flawed and useless as a lot of young adults have been left stranded due to its countless network issues which always seem to evolve from bad to worse on a yearly basis
Interesting your account about education in Nigeria! It’s great to see how the system is well-structured and focused on preparing young people for various careers. Here in Brazil, we also struggle to ensure everyone has access, but there are still many challenges, especially regarding quality and keeping students in school
